My home now and the place of almost all of my childhood holidays. I feel a deep love for The Mount and remember with nostalgia how much we, as a family, enjoyed our walks around and up. It was a pleasure to walk the old track with you. We'll do it again next time. Loved the video and the music. Xxx

Love the sound of the name of this mountain! What a stunning area which you shot and captured beautifully! The carved Muari artifacts were nice! Ooo a shipwreck plaque 😮 That place with the artifacts of past human inhabitants was interesting! Looks a fab walk around the mountain can you hike up it too? That rock was interesting! Nice seeing the big ships around you while walking, great information throughout! That was interesting about the water spring and what it was used for! Superb 👌 ❤

You know I didn’t even realise there was a track around the Mount, I guess why not. 😀 It looks really nicely done with plenty of of (recent) information boards . Did you get the chance to walk the little peninsula that sticks out mid beach ? Love that low sun and those clouds , they look a lot like my recent video to Coromandel filmed late April.

😂😂. Really Chris. Can’t recall first time I walked around the Mount. Was a lifetime ago. Give it a go it’s lovely. This was mid or bit later in May. Was a perfect day for it. Walking around the base of the mountain rather than climbing it sounds great to me. Much more my style. 😁😁 Fantastic scenery there Anita. I wonder what the triangle design on the rock means??? Not even my expert internet searching skills (honed by decades of wasting time sitting in front of my PC) have enabled me to solve that mystery. (P.S. I hope you'll be making Dara some of the famous New Zealand custard slice when she comes to visit). 😁
