Christchurch mosque attack survivor Abdul Aziz Wahabzadah confronts gunman Brenton Tarrant in court, and brands him a "coward".
The white supremacist gunman who live-streamed his massacre of 51 people at two New Zealand mosques last year has been sentenced to life in prison without parole.
Brenton Harrison Tarrant had pleaded guilty during court proceedings in Christchurch to murder, attempted murder and terrorism over the attacks in the city which left 51 people dead.
A murder conviction carries a mandatory sentence of life in prison. The judge can impose a life term without parole, a sentence that had never before been used in New Zealand.

Ah, but it is not in Germany and if you keep having to go back to History and have not learnt to move on that is not my fault, I say what I think and feel, riazchowdhurry has made a good comment and he has stated that the family not forging is healthy, am I not allowed to have empathy for people who were doing nothing to harm anyone but praying. This is not a time for war but years ago we were asked to forgive as so many violations had been done that we cannot go on hating. This has happened in our time and they did not aggravate anyone, but someone decided to take their lives. Had I felt any different if it was 1938, I can't answer that as I was not even thought of then, but I do have family who were there and they have forgiven. If you cannot forgive, your soul becomes full of hatred. If that is you then I feel very sorry for you. This will rattle a few more people but you also have to accept that I am allowed to be me. I am not a nasty person at all, I am kind, thoughtful and have empathy.

Dear Paul, islam is not owned by any person, all true revealed religions had one author. The message was delivered in piecemeal according to man’s intellect. Dear Paul, To discredit a good thing has always been the aim of violent people. When I see crazy violent people causing havoc at a football match, I do not condemn all British people. That would be foolish. Islam does not permit hurting anyone or using bad language. No religion does. It’s always those who are far removed from it. In school we see good and bad but we never just look at the bad to then condemn education. Right minded people always judge impartially. Islam does mean PEACE, if an individual is causing disorder they are not following ISLAM but just using it as an identity which is meaningless because we understand PEACE and can easily see fraudsters. There are thousands of people hiding behind something they are not and are identified by their behaviour, like doctors, finance, someone claiming having PHD etc. Such people are nothing but liars but we never condemn the thing they identify with because we have knowledge of what that entity is representing. Islam is everywhere so why not study it yourself, you do not have to become a Muslim but just gain understanding like one would study which is the best TV to buy but not with the intention of becoming a TV repair man.
