Down to their final weeks of Police College, the recruits enter the FIELD TRAINING UNIT. Kitted out in full uniform and attending jobs - things become a lot more real as they experience being in blue in public.

I'm still quite young, currently 17 going on 18 soon, but I feel that this will lower my chances of getting selected as I don't have much experience? I don't know if it's worth applying until im a bit older with more experience.

It's definitely worth applying, age doesn't always reflect experience. Have a chat to recruitment about and see what you think as your find out more about the job.

2 early shifts, 2 late shifts, and 2 night shifts is the rotating roster for frontline staff - it is something to get used to for sure!
