Hello my friend, I'm from the state of Michigan. I like your program the way you set it up. I made a comment before maybe the comment about your new lady. She's outstanding, she looks a little sassy in a good way. Don't take it wrong, my friend. I like your programmed way it's set up. I'll keep watching it and enjoy. It's different. You take care, Lord, watch over you and yours and stay safe. Your friend from Michigan. God speed

Exquisitely designed tent! Looked so good under the copse reflected at the far end of the tarn. That's a real meal we haven't tried yet. Nicely filmed... That rocket trail was amazing.

Yeah nemo seems to have nailed the fine line between being super light and still comfortable. Man that launch looked insane I couldn’t process what it was at first lol brain wasn’t working. It was a rocket lab launch apparently. Wish I had big zoom lens to film it.

@@tonystewart9504 I was up on the tablelands awhile ago and seen a starlink deployment that was very cool to see also. The tent was $850 not bad for its specs I’d say. So far can not fault it really.

A great clip and I appreciate the recording effort with all the doubling back involved. Abel, it's not about the coffee! 😉. One of our favourite spots, with so many further options. I have a Mont single similar to the Nemo and enjoy the head room while sitting as I'm quite tall. As for the "hut" they tend to deteriorate quickly and often include plastic which eventually gets blown everywhere, and indignant people will also demolish them, and I wouldn't like to see Lake Lockett campsites with any more rubbish lying around. Goooo RocketLab!

Thanks. A secret log cabin like Chaffey hut would be ideal. It would be kinda hard to keep that’s a secret for long though.

Nice video! Thanks for the review of the Nemo tent, I have just ordered one and was slightly concerned about the headroom. I think you are quite a bit taller than I am so I will have heaps of room. Looks like a fantastic spot you chose for your first camp out! Frost is not something I get to see much of 🙂 enjoy your new tent. Thanks again.

Great video. Beautiful spot for an overnight camp. The Hornet Elite 1P seems like a great UL tent. I'm wondering if the Hornet Elite 2P might be even better for the person who likes a little extra room. At the site I looked at, the 2P Hornet Elite is an extra 123g, which is nothing for an extra $90. But you look like you're around 6ft. If the 1P is big enough for you it would be big enough for most people.
@AbelandVictoria2 жыл бұрын
I considered the 2p variant but decided that I wanted the most hardcore weight saving option. I already have a reasonably light and spacious 2p tent if I feel like some extra room. The 1p hornet is definitely big enough for me and don’t feel like I really need anymore space once I’m in.
@terencejamesparkinson64002 жыл бұрын
Do you think this tent would be okay to -5c or so in winter?
@AbelandVictoria2 жыл бұрын
The inner bathtub floor comes up pretty high and the rain fly can be tightened down close to the ground so keeping some warmer air inside the tent is possible. Also the osmo fabric not sagging if wet due to condensation is good so Id say any condensation will not drip inside the tent. I had it in pretty cold temperatures and it was great.
@terencejamesparkinson64002 жыл бұрын
Awesome! Yeah I’m looking at a very light backpacking tent that can do cold here in Canada lol. Do you think it got down around-5 or so in the night? Great videos btw! Happy I found your channel.
