Till you've actually been to one of these shows, you just can't duplicate the experience by a video. The noise, the crowd, the noise . . . makes it exponentially better.

I went to monster jam and monster jam on ice as a kid and they were surprisingly fun to experience. I had low expectations as I’ve been to nascar races, NHRA drag races, and motocross. They would enjoy rodeos too. Good wholesome fun.

I'm sitting here in Michigan with my glass of bourbon watching with you. Being the automotive capital you know we have some monster motors in our monster trucks. They occasionally have monster truck rallies right down the street from me. You would not believe how loud these are live or how big they are when you stand next to them. Great guys night! Denzel and Sam, this is something you guys have to be at to believe. The noise, the crowd, it's off the wall crazy. Blow out fun! I was in the concert biz in the late 70s through the 80s & we promoted these monster truck shows occasionally. Had to bring an incredible amount of dump trucks of dirt, road graders, tractors in to set these up. Got to hang out around these monsters. Unbelievable machines.

We used to take our kids to Monster Trucks every year, and my son loved it! He was a big fan of Grave Digger. It is extremely loud! You can feel the sound vibrate deep inside your body. We used to enjoy the cheap seats until someone got into a fist fight at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, CA and knocked someone's eye out of the eye socket. Everyone was looking for the eye when the police showed up. After that we decided paying more for the experience might be safer! :)

As a kid and young adult I used to follow the monster truck rallies on TV. I was also fortunate enough to have the opportunity to ride in BigFoot (a classic monster truck) when I was around 9 years old. I placed second in a competition for young kids and the prize was riding in BigFoot. Keep up the awesome videos!!

I just love Monster Jams! Way back in the day when Big Foot was THE truck to beat, they used to hold the San Diego Monster Truck Rallies at the indoor Sports Arena. The sound was deafening and by the end of the evening, the air inside the Sports Arena looked almost blue from all the exhaust. Now the events are held outdoors and are even bigger and better! I think Nadine and Atlanta would have a blast too!

As someone who's been to one of those events, it is super loud. It echos throughout the whole stadium. I was also a big Grave Digger fan (still am... kind of lol) but I don't really watch it nowadays. I grew up watching "Dennis Anderson" drive (Grave Digger) also watching his kids follow his footsteps and continuing their father's legacy. I really miss watching all those old crazy clips. Great Video btw! 💯❤

Tom Meentz (pronounced Mints.) In the gold and black machine once said, "It's not over and done until the wheels come off; the engine expires or you're upside down." and he DROVE it like that as well. Him, and the Anderson boys (who drove Grave Digger.) were ALWAYS entertaining because they would punish the HECK out of their equipment!!...AND...more often than not...would WIN!!!!

I remember when I was a kid, monster trucks were basically still a new thing. It used to be you go to a truck/tractor pull and you would have one, maybe two monster trucks at the end of the show to crush a few cars. But I got to see the original Bigfoot, Dennis Andersons Grave Digger and a bunch of other old school legendary trucks back in the day. The trucks have advanced so much over the years, and the sport has basically turned into a stunt show. Truth be told, as awesome and show stopping as monster trucks are, I still love the truck/tractor pulls even more.

I went to my first Super Bowl of Motor Sports back when it was part of the NHRA back in the mid 80's, before they had Monster Jam, it has changed so much since then. And until you're there to actually hear and feel the horsepower, it's hard to appreciate what these drivers do. It's a blast, my boys both in their 20's now, and still want to go every year when it rolls around down here in Florida.

You'll love it if you attend one, yes the engines are insane loud bring ear plugs, also another competition to check out is... power pulls, the vehicles there pull a weight box that gets heavier as you pull sometimes reach almost 300,000 lbs, these vehicles have upwards of 6 engines burning nitromethane with close to 10,000 hp.

Great Video. I took my son (when he was 6) and my dad to a rally in Greenville, SC) Grave Digger is one of the best known and favorites. A really skilled driver (and a cool looking truck). That was back in the 90's. It was a little pricey, but definitely worth it to exp. once. The sound is a lot louder than you think. If you go, bring ear plugs or earmuffs (just like an airshow). You can almost feel the rumble, you smell the trucks, great fun. They usually have other events as part of the show, maybe tracker pulls or some other red-neck type thing. At ours, they had dirt bikes jumping and doing tricks - sort of a half-time show before the "main event". The Dirt bikes were spectacular too, almost worth the price on their own.

Here is an interesting fact monster truck drivers have to wear a special neck brace that completely in mobilizes their neck to keep it from snapping from the whiplash. This consequently makes it so they cannot turn their head to see things. Because they can only look forward while their driving they will have a spotter radio them and tell them what is to the side of them.

I'm from a rural part of the US and ages ago, when I was around Atlanta and Denzel's ages we had a monster truck show come to town. During the show someone in a regular truck tried driving over the crushed cars and while going over the edge of the last car, the truck got stuck, snagged on the car. It was pretty much high centered. Took a while to free it so the monster trucks could fly over the cars again
