A Link To The Past doesn't have an HD remake nor does Zelda 1 and the oracle games, and Links awakening and Ocarina and Majoras Mask. I would rather play an HD remake of A Link To The past than an HD remake of Ocarina of Time and Majoras mask 100% honest. That is just my opinion.

@@xmrcomplicatedx5441 I agree with you, but I would think that it would be cool if you had local multiplayer between consoles or have someone use a controller to play on the same console. But I would want the story to be able to be played with or without another player and be the same. They could possibly make it like Halo: Reach by keeping the story the same, but making it easier than single player. This means that cutscenes and story would stay identical, but when you are traveling or fighting dungeons you would have a companion to fight with you.

sycoraz they were ported to a console that had little user base. So it would make sense if they ended up porting them. And WindWaker is great. And if you think that of ports do you think the same of Bayonetta. She was Xbox 360 developed then ported to PS3 which was then Ported to the Wii U and then Ported to the PC and then Ported to the switch. Of course I'm talking about her first game her second game just got Ported from the Wii U to the switch along with the first portathon ending at the switch. It would make sense that a well received HD remaster like Wind Waker to be Ported back to the base that has major consumer base so I can be bought or played by those who either didn't have the Wii U or missed out on it

sycoraz I too am a Wii U owner, however I ever had 1 game for it, mainly down to shops refusing to sell Wii U games. And the bank not using Visa on Cards till last October. I think the Wii U was rushed out to try and capture a market that had already moved on from the Wii. It doesn't mean you should like it's worthless the Wii U got some great games first like Hyrule Warriors and Wind Waker HD. But atleast out of everyone you have the right to complain if a port of a Wii U game is crap because you owned it. I love my Switch and I use it an awful lot, and whilst traveling I think Wind Waker would be great in HandHeld format. Nintendo made the Hybrid console and when you put it next to the Wii U, you can see the Switch idea was there in the Wii U tablet thing haha

Also, If they are making another OW game, they should have it where it takes place outside of Hyrule. You know how Hyrule is populated by Hylians (pointed ears, magical, hear spirits)? I was thinking of a setting where there's a country mostly populated by ordinary humans (round ears, not able to hear spirits or cast magic) and they'd have their own version of the Master Sword, but as either a type G Viking sword OR a greatsword instead of a longsword. Also, to create contrast, while Hyrule can by seen as a Celtic-like setting, this human country can be more of a Scandinavian-like setting. It also allows to created new races and lore without having to worry about continuity in Hyrule

I guarantee that one of these games is either a prequel or a sequel to Breath of the Wild using the same physics engine. They wouldn't spend so much time creating and perfecting this physics engine only to use it for just one game. The physics engine is literally the main reason BOTW kept getting delayed.

+Tomsk Bromley those delays weren't just Nintendo working on it. Havok, the company who created the engine also helped a lot. It's crazy to think one of the same engines used in games like call of duty and fall out 4 has so much potential. Nintendo took the havok engine and made a better game than anyone else will likely ever do.

I think I see something... Wind Waker (2003) + 10 Years = Wind Waker HD (2013). Twilight Princess (2006) + 10 years = Twilight Princess HD (2016). If Nintendo continues this then Skyward Sword will probably get its remake around 2021.

If they do make a Skyward Sword remake, im pretty sure they’re obligated to use the motion controls, since most if not all bosses and enemies rely on precise striking. Therefore, it would be impossible to beat bosses and enemies with a push of a button, unless their battle scheme is completely remade, which is unlikely. So Nintendo might make a JoyCon attatchement with more precise motion controls, like they did with the Wii Remote, if SS HD were ever to come out

I don't think an ocarina hd will be anytime soon because of 3ds ocarina, also the 5 games I want are 1. The first Link that got the goddess sword, the hylian shield, met goddess hylia, fought demise, got fatally wounded, sent skyloft skyward and then hylia promises to reincarnate him. 2. The game 10,000 years before Breath of the Wild where the divine beasts were created same with the guardians and when they were first used. and 3. A twilight princess sequel it could be right after like Majora's mask is right after Ocarina of time or a year or 2 but I want to see Midna again at least, it seems that everyone I know loves Midna and I think they could do great things with the child timeline. 4. a 4th game for the Adult timeline (the worst timeline in my opinion) to get another home console game that is really good and it keeps the Master Sword gone, make it its own timeline and define it. and finally 5. A Skyward Sword HD remake.

I would be more into a 1 year after skyward sword game. You have to improve the fallen city, make it bigger and gather defenses. Instead of going to dungeons and beating bosses you make your city into a "dungeon" to defend against the ground races and bosses. You have to fight enemys in different areas of your town lure them into traps and use the enviroment with gear which Link collects in the outside world. Then there is an big alienlike boss at the end who crashes his ship into your town and both fuse. You would have to fight your way through the new dungeon beat the boss and rescue the princess or some other shit

Felipe Robles it's a masterpiece. Everyone feels differently but Windwaker was the first Zelda I ever finished on my own without a guide. With the possible exception of LTTP. I can't remember anymore. Definitely play the HD edition it eliminated the most annoying bits.

Skyward Sword is definitely gonna get an HD remake, no doubt. On the Switch, and i’d say it’d be a 2019 release. And in terms of the next main series game, I have three guesses. 1) Breath Of The Wild prequel - Play as Link, alongside the Champions and Zelda, in a Hyrule 100 years before BotW. It ends with Link falling to Calamity Ganon, and being put into 100 years of sleep. 2) Majora’s Mask sequel - Who wouldn’t want to return to Termina? It could follow on directly from the original Majora’s Mask with the Hero of Time, or use the Hero of... the Wild? (And I’m considering BotW a part of the MM / TP timeline). Maybe involve time travel again, but this time to fight Majora themself? 3) Something entirely new - No guesses here. But I have faith.

NoahIdeaFilms I like the Breath of the Wild prequel idea but won't people be upset not being victorious ? Like buying a game and going through the whole process only for them to be defeated ? I would want gameplay after you defeat ganon in BOTW, like new side quests and new enemies but same world and characters. They can build onto botw sooo much. The ending says something about checking out Ruta so that could be a start. Instead of just ending the game there. It could be continued. It just sucks because I have the wii u version and they probably won't do anything else with it. I was lucky to get the dlc packs. But I don't want to get a switch, I invest so much money and games in the wii u and I like the wii u.

If they made a Majora's Mask sequel, I would cry with happiness. I think Breath of the Wild is God's blessing and I would be even more excited for Majora's sequel or spiritual successor. And I think they should port absolutely everything to the Switch. It would be a shame to deny players the joys of Zelda. But don't spend your time remaking anything just yet.

Honestly, I want a Skyward Sword HD more than another version of Ocarina Of Time. I mean, I have OoT in 3 different versions: the original on the N64, on the GameCube (with Master Quest) in the Limited Edition of Wind Waker, and on the 3DS (also with Master Quest). Skyward Sword would work on the Switch (I guess it would even work better on the Switch than on the Wii with the Joy-Cons which are really damn good to be honest).

You just think every zelda game ever has Gannon capturing zelda, when in reality, that's not true at all. Twilight Princess: Defeat Zant and his twilight army from invading the world. Windwaker: Go on an adventure with a bunch of pirates and become the chosen hero and save the great sea from ganondorf and his bird friend. Skyward Sword: stop Demise from invading all of skyloft. That's way more interesting than taking the plot of final fantasy and avatar the last airbender, merging them into one, and putting that in a game.

What I think would be a really cool sequel to Breath of The Wild would be a multiplayer game where the story would be: After Link defeats Calamity Ganon and Zelda returns to the physical realm they both go on an adventure to where they come across another kingdom in danger (possibly Termina?) and they BOTH work together to save it from whatever evil has made it's home there. It would have Link and Zelda both be playable characters which could both have different abilities. In singleplayer the player would be able to change between Link and Zelda at will and in combat the unused character would have some sort of battle AI and in multiplayer one person controls Link while the other controls Zelda. It would be something similar to Epic Mickey 2. What do you guys think?

I think a 3d version of link to the past would be one of the most amazing Zeldas to be created! Keeping all the original sounds/soundtracks (Don't mind a slight hd twist on this but try and keep it as original as possible) Just think about it....lost woods, 3 dungeons to begin with, loads of fairy fountains, the speed boots, dark world, insane boss fights, ice temple and much more! They could even add in upgrades from ocarina of time such as silver quiver, gold quiver, bigger bomb bags etc! It would literally be insane!!!! Also remake using same art style as twilight princess as it's a dark game in many ways and I think this would fit best for this game and look amazing!!!

So instead, they took the world they already made for the remake and added their own story as a reimagining. Late into development they decided to make it take place a few hundred years after. It isn't a direct sequel. Links awakening is the sequel to a link to the past. They share the same link and one begins when the other ends. A link between worlds in Nintendos own words is a reimagined version of a link to the past.

Don't want a multiplayer zelda game. They are meant to be adventures of a single person. Don't know why all these developers think multiplayer makes everything better when it really is the opposite

Incarne unless it's a game like triforce heroes which really isn't optional, and that's what I'm talking about. Yeah one person can play it, but it's more a pain in the ass than it is fun to do it that way

If anyone could manage to make Multiplayer and Singleplayer mix, it'd be Nintendo. I'd only trust the Kings of Left Field to come up with a way to do this and have it be fun either way.

I play zelda from link to the past to the 4 sword I like story and plots ,horror game about zelda it just no and beside they so much horror many games ,horror movie and games are not my favourite at all . Zelda is okay without it ,you can make good game without so much blood and Gore.

A HD remake Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask would be pretty awesome. We already have 3D, why not try out HD? Both in Unreal Engine 4 would be amazing.
