A small thing I like about the new zone is that Nuxia is now not entirely useless at clearing minions. She can actually take down bunches up groups pretty quicklly now.

I think Nuxia need dodge recovery after a missed or landed trap move because of that weird interaction 2:46

Honestly a great change because now I can use it in-chain without it feeling terrible. Only complaint is that people with too much time on their hands will practice reading the animation and make it unusable very high MMR. Just wished they added dodge recovery on the traps (like PK with her top dagger cancel dodge recovery) and she'd feel great. Imagine someone dodge attacking your trap only to end up deflected...... Ah the vision is so close!

I still feel like Nuxia is underpowered and really stale, her zone is really the only unique move she has other than that all she has is a triple light combo and her traps, playing Nuxia is basically just hoping the other person tries to block your heavies and won't parry the first hit of your zone.

A couple days ago I had a guy trying to convince me that the new zone was somehow WORSE than her old one. I still can't tell if I was being trolled or if they were just really new.

I got rep 70 almost and I don't like the new zone. I used to be able to throw off timing using heavies on left and land a zone when they try to parry. I would have rather they just made it undodgable. It used to have a weird hotbox that wouldn't really hit to the right

it definitely isnt a pure upgrade before you could stuff gbs by pressing zone and land a 32 dmg hit now that theres an initial hit you cant get a massive gb counter punish anymore the other reasons are more gimmicky but doing zone when you land a gb put them into a mixup for notably more damage than just doing a heavy and as the last guy said the timing was different though personally i disliked that aspect since most of the time youd try a trap theyd mistime a parry making it pointless all that being said i genuinely love having a way to quickly force people to respect my space now im throwing out this new zone near constantly, not to mention you can also use it in chains so theres no reason to not throw it in teamfight

It does. You can still zone against a gb, but you just land the first hit and they have to deal with the second hit normally.

One of the worst characters in for honor the lame ass trap mechanic where I can’t move my mouse or I get trapped is horrendous

I mean, you're right. She is one of the worst characters. It's just that she's the worst because she sucks, not because she's hard or unfair to fight.
