Thanks Steve! I agree, Zoom released these things so quietly I wasn’t aware of some of the features. I’ve been using clips instead of Loom and it suits my purposes quite well. I had no idea I could create surveys and forms outside a meeting. This will be very useful. Great video!

Just a clarification AI companion catches folks up during meeting. Summary is emailed and stored in Zoom account after the fact. I use the summary frequently. I have one-on-one coaching with students and in the past I've had to replay the recording skipping throught to summarize what we talked about. Now, I can just look through the summary and it jogs my memory. It's an immense time saver!!

Many thanks for your vids. You’re a great teacher. Speaking of which I’m an English language teacher just starting out online. I’m looking for a tutorial for using Zoom’s whiteboards with my iPad and stylus pencil as supplementary to my desktop. I’m hoping to annotate documents live. Is Apple Notes the best option for this?

Steve - what tool are you using when you are talking about Zoom competitive landscape. Where you have the words with colored lines and then you click to expand another branch?

If you have a free Zoom account the limit is 5 clips of 2 minutes each, with paid accounts there is no limit

Seems Zoom has gone from leader to follower. Mostly what it seems Zoom did was to change the "look and feel". That is to say, Zoom has made Zoom harder to use by hiding things or just moving things around. It's like you go to work and all your tools have been moved around and do different things, your workspace has been rearranged and redecorated, and extra "tools" that you don't need have been put in the places where your most needed tools used to be. It is very disorienting and less useful to me. I now have to re-spend time/money to use a tool without any potential any increase in function for me. I use Zoom to support discussions as opposed to team "collaborations". I am not trying to "grow my team/company. The new AI "features" are just "bugs" for me. How do I get the old Zoom back? Is someone trying to kill this company? It sure feels like it.

I get your frustration with the changes-Zoom’s updates can be confusing at times. While they’re focusing on new features, I agree it can make things harder to use, especially if you're just looking for simplicity. Unfortunately, they don’t offer a way to roll back to the old version, but it might help to check their support or settings to customize your experience and remove some of the new features.
