Gerben that was brutal, too many hard pushes and confusion with all the other riders but since it’s not a race, we are all suppose to ride together. Anyway whenever you put 3 or 4 riders together it’s often turning into a race. Congratulations for staying with the fast racers.

When I did this route, I was in a small front group from early on. After two laps or so, I noticed a rider with us whose distance shown was the same as that of the people we were lapping, so I thought he was a lap behind. On the final climb, it turned out that he just joined late. He finished first.

Haha, that was a weird one. Felt like I was really cooking, and passing some people... Realized it was just lap traffic. Still feels good. Did the A (long) route today, all done for Stage 5.

I did this Monday and it was crazy carnage from lap one. I got away off the front early though and a few guys worked and we held off all but one guy from the pack in the sprint confusion. Sounds like I can expect the same on Richmond!

Had the same experience in Richmond 🤪 Absolutely nuts from lap 2 on, all the overtaking and not really knowing who is still with your group...but tbh it's still a group ride,...BUT you know the drill, if there are numbers for places and anyone in front of you, it MUST be a race 🤣🤣 btw strong performance, thumbs up!

You did this route back in May last year for the Bag That Badge event 😁 That time you would have lapped me twice, this time I did better and you'd have just passed me once 😂 Perhaps next year I'll hold on to a group that doesn't get caught by you 'A' riders,I mean racers 🤣 Great effort after that hill climb Gerben 👏

Circuit laps in a mass cat ride/race definitely make for chaos with lapped riders. The two Danish riders were very strong and Vannevele, who won, I recognize as the same guy that zipped me at the top of Petit Douleur on stage 4 . . . so you definitely had your work cut out for you chasing that group. I'm dodging this one in favor of Libby Hill - it will have the same lapped rider issue but I only have to climb 118m at the end 😅
