Riding a paddleboard over a bean field reminded me of something similar. Some years ago there was some massive flooding here in southern Minnesota. There was a farmer here just south of Montevideo who had some low ground along the Minnesota River. To make the best of his flooding he actually water skied on It on an April afternoon.

My god, what a disaster, a same situation we had in the fall of 1998 in Holland. That was during Potato Harvest time, and a lot of fields drowned.
