There's been a lot of changes in that area, and it has been a long time since I was there. I have hazy memories of the LAMMA agricultural machinery show, which used to be held on the Newark and Notts Showground. Nothing of the buildings I see really fits what I remember. Fifteen years ago or more. The LAMMA event has moved, and there's not much history I can find on the internet.

@@davebell4917 yes LAMMA moved to Peterborough, then to the NEC. What is it you were trying to find out?

@@travellyman I am trying to be careful what I say about people, but what is on the web seems to be the product of a corporate PR department, apart from the Wikipedia entry, I never went to Peterborough for that event, and all I have left to me is hazy memory. We're in a New Dark Age I would be making a wild guess about any "where" in Peterborough. We're losing so much. There is more in one footnote in a history book, printed a couple of centuries ago, than some search engones can find on the internet.
