Hi Ted. Great video, with much of interest. Nice to see you getting a lot more air time in and around some proper aircraft. The aircraft displayed outside, are they safe from the weather? It would be a pity to loose them to rot.

Hi Stephen. Thank you very much. Yeah we have a very packed 2022 and we’ve planned it nicely to get more time for visits for both past and present. I am really interested in the aircraft here and loving the Lightning, Canberra, Buccaneer and the Harrier. That said, there’s too many to mention as I’m started to be fascinated with historic aircraft that once played a part defending our skies. I know some aircraft get moved about and put into the hangers but not sure how much care the ones outside get. Some of the aircraft have been here since the late 70s they must get some cover I guess. Thanks again Stephen. 🤙🏼🧸🇬🇧

It’s really far away where I live I live near diss in Suffolk and lakenheath is my nearest military aircraft base I would love to go there tho so hopefully I could go one day!👍

they have a great collection Ted ! I love the fast jets , particularly the Lightning , I was lucky enough to see the aerobatics team The Firebirds ,when they were flying , Imagine that today , 9 Lightnings !

i have been to this muesum a couple of time and they had a display case with parts of sqdn leader hopgoods lancaster from 617's dams raid
