Ziheng, the more you speak to her in Chinese the quicker she'll learn. I like that you speak to her in Chinese. I know you want to learn English which she can teach you but its good for her to learn Chinese so she can communicate with everyone in China better. Because I love videos like these I'm also learning Chinese slowly as I watch your videos. Its the symbols she has to dedicate time to learning and trust me studying everyday, she will learn to speak read and write Chinese. It will take effort but repetitiveness is the key. Sorry not here to educate, just sharing ( At university I focused on developmental psychology which included learning a language and speech). I did my dissertation in linguistics field -.

I'm from the UK it's winter as time goes she'll get used to the cold. I love summer but I prefer winter. The little place is looking nice. I like it. Both you and Erica seem very down to earth and it's nice to see young ones who are hardworking and down to earth. May I just ask, can you get heaters to keep the rooms warm? The residential apartment has gas heater in Tianjing, indoor temperature is above 20 C. however, I did not find the heater inside this old house, which is a bit strange.
