I installed one of these, on my mobility scooter, and I’m very happy with the installation and functionality! My scooter has a factory headlight, but it has a very dim, incandescent bulb and did nothing to light the path ahead. I am now able to see and be seen very well on my evening rides. I’ve had it installed for about 6 months and it has worked flawlessly and so easy to keep charged. Great video!

Remember that's CHINESE lumens so it's 50-75% of what they claim. I ordered the same model from a US, not a Chinese supplier which is rated at 2600 lumens which is probably more correct as Amazon will kick off an American distributer if they fudge the numbers too much.. Still good and I'm willing to pay an extra 15 bucks in case it's crap and they don't want to refund or return, Amazon will cover it. Subscribed to support the channel.

2600 is much more reasonable; 29 watts at 3.7 = 7.8 Amps max a bit high for a 21700, but way better than the ~17 amps you'd need for 6000lm

@@runforitman Very true. I think a lot of these companies are "gaming" their claims to sell more unit when the literal true specs are good enough. I did a review if you want to click my name there's no damn way it's 6000 lumens. However it's still decent. At least very close to my FL1/ANSI rated 3000 lumen flashlight.

The one I've just bought from Temu advertised at 2600 sounds more reasonable, identical to the one in this video. there are others advertised at 6k and 9k lumens and that just isn't possible with such little a battery. @@runforitman

May the light serve you well. Just to keep you in the know, I have since found out that the lumens on this light is around half of what they advised on this product. Newboler is NOT WATERPROOF! I used mine while raining and it has a lower light beam than before. NEVER USE THIS WHILE RAINING

The light has been absolutely fine this the whole time, and I have no complaints, and I'm very happy with it. The battery life is very good too. Compared to some lights out there, which cost a pretty penny

mine just arrived and mounted, the light is powerfull , did u find and use for those extra 2 screws?

@paladinul it's a great light, and I have never had a single problem with it. I believe those two extra screws are there if you wish to swap out the thumb twist screws you use to secure the light as it would make it harder to remove from the mount it sits on. I've bought one of these light acrnnu five lights mucked on for a few minutes three modes thought I would charge it it was charged for twenty minutes hardly used it. There is different settings for longer battery life there is a one for seven hours then three hours then two hours what do you think

@@electrocycle1977 to be onist there was no booklet if you go on to amazon ask for the light you want mine cam under iligeal lights it was a lad on utube I clicked on and bought it from USA its the same as yours but more power to be onist I wish I never bought mine on amazon the prise is £45, when I clicked on to buy mine it has a scale on which one to use to get seven hours if I remember it's on high which sounds strange if I ues one light it's 3to 4 hours. I serpose be OK for short journeys

So how effective is this light in practical day & night riding? One issue is this is not easy to remove when parking the bike, I would prefer an easily removable light. What was your experience?

Hi, I found that the light was easy to move when going shops in the daytime and at night even though I have the daul mount arms. I see where you're coming from when you say you like an easy removal light, which is nice, but I would still prefer this light as you can easy see what's in front of when you hit that dark path with zero to no lighting at all which makes me feel safe and confident. And it is a power bank if you need to charge up something when you're on the move. Thus is my experience

6000 lumens my rear end! 600 maybe. I've got a 300 lumen led on my bike that will get near hot enough to burn a blister. If that thing really was 6000, it would melt the plastic on your cable housings. Most car headlights only put out 900-1000. 5 minutes of research on the internet, people, it will save you time and money and maybe even a few IQ points.

I hear you, as you know its only what's on the box and as I've been told any thing from China... you half it. No need to say anything about IQ points. The light is cheap enough and I'm just reviewing what I see. In future videos I will make sure to mention anything coming from certain places around the globe should just be considered at the very least to be half the power. This light is still a really good light to have on the bike people.

@@electrocycle1977 I meant no insult. I sincerely apologize if you took it that way. I was referring to losing IQ points from the stress of buying something that doesn't do what it says. We've all gotten flustered from a bad purchase. It's a temporary loss of intelligence, but it does make us do stupid things. For example, I bought a Huffy, from Walmart, for $250, just to have something to pedal around the yard with my little nephew. I ended up putting another $500 into it just to make it rideable. I could have returned it, when I found metal shavings in ALL of the bearings, and spent the same amount of money on a good bike. Now it's a $750 custom Huffy - Yard Cruiser. 🙄

@@kawarider9049 ikr? But i measured the lumens, and it is not 6000 lumens, its around 2200-2600, 2500+ almost 2600lumen when full battery and 2200 when almost dead. And i opened it up, and it has two 27100 sized unbranded lithium ion cells, 4000,or 5000 mah each depending on what battery model you bought, i never tested the battery amperage/power output as its a waste of time and isn't that relavant for use, as mine being the 10000mah(2x5000mah) one lasted me more than 3 hours on full brightness with all the leds on, and i normally only ride around 2 hours so its plenty for me and i know it has extra juice for me to emergency charge my phone (not the fastest but not slow either at 10 watts which i can accept) overall, only paying abt 30+ dollars for it including shipping, i call it a good deal, clamps r very secure and solid, they grip onto my bar crazy strong and event sent my bike off jumps at the bike park with the light on and didnt move n inch, great u enjoyed yours too, the lumen is just a number, dont be disappointed if its lower than advertized, its bright enough, actually insanely bright for night riding, and the fact is uses all its leds to not only create a low flood beam to light up things near you, it also gives a high beam which allowed u to see further instead of other lights that give you only one option, near or far, thats very important. It also has a perfect and smary cutoff by the designers playing with the light enclosure/reflectors which allows it to be bright enough to see you from a mile away while not blinding u when u walk close, so it not only helps you but also helps others by alerting them and also doing them a favour by not blinding them as 2600 lumens is no joke to the eyes when its concentrated like that.

Good question, I personally haven't opened up the lght but I have checked online to see what battery is being used inside. It's claimed that a 21700 cell which theoretically can be changed I would imagine. So if you have a light yourself by all means check it out. Good luck 😎👍

6000 lumens is a bit of a stretch 66 watts for an LED thats ~17 Amps at the battery voltage especially considering the max for 21700 size batteries is around 7 Amps Also the max size for 21700 batteries is generally 5000mAh I wish there wasn't this bs numbers game with all these devices they all lie about lumens and battery capacity like ffs even if I pretend their battery is as big as they say it is, and pretend the battery stays at max voltage (this is in favour of them) 4.2 * 8 = 33.6 Watt hours so the torch would only run for half an hour if it put out 6000 lumens. Not 8 hours as they claim. Even if I pretend it's a high pressure sodium lamp, which is more efficient, that's still more than 50 watts That's still only 40 minutes runtime using all their bullshit numbers. that is being so overly on their side you'd say I'm biased towards making them look better

I got the same thing, and its very possible for it to be 8000mah,as it uses double 27100 cells inside. I bought a 10000mah version, and each cell is 5000mah aftwr taking it apart, at least it says that on the shrink wrap on the cells themselves, but arent branded and have no amperage specs. But a really powerful 27100 cell like the molicel p45b has 45amp of discharge and not 7a, and it can discharge even higher if you keep the temps under control
