It rarely happens?? It happened last season in the league cup. Lewis hall scored when we had no fit centre backs and no centre forward

Still rare though mate, it's only the second time we've won there in the league since '72

1972, a week after they'd been dumped out of the FA Cup, by Hereford.. and 2013 when Pardew was the manager 😊

Great video guys, admittedly I am a Mag, so thank you for the kind comments. Your relaxed, authoritative style is excellent. As for ManU, the dark days will continue for the next few weeks, with your run of fixtures. However, listening to Amorim, I truly believe, he knows what he needs to do. There are a few dynamics at play, in the PL. Firstly, unbridled, desperate wage offers, attract mercenaries with a sense of entitlement. Secondly, the lesser teams have all bought well, developed well, and have improved, overall. This is evident in Villa's showing in the CL, and ours (NU) last season despite the longest injury list in Europe. Lastly, teams have got City's, ManU's and the top teams' numbers. They now know how to deal with the elite sides. NU's tactics have changed slightly from the season we qualified for the CL, too. Rather than play park the bus and waste time, then have a devastating counter attack, now we can pressurise teams into creating attacking opportunities for us. This last element is what ManU and City used to do, and now what Liverpool does. Basically, the opposition shit themselves before a ball is even kicked. The opposition manager changes his formation and tactics to deal with NU. Then, as we saw with Villa, Dick (you're too young to remember him, but for a great laugh YT him) Emery decided to speak openly about our threat. There's a fine balance between respect and undermining your team. Respect the opposition, but never use the words "threat", "scared" etc. Say things like, "they are a very good team, but we have players who can negate them". Psychology is a massive part of the game. Amorim, will get the best out of ManU, I am certain. He is like Eddie Howe. You just need him to bed in this season. You won't be relegated, just think of it like a whole club reset: refurbished/redeveloped stadium, refurbished/redeveloped squad, and refurbished/redeveloped off pitch staff.
