Newcastle - Galloway Forest Loop.

My first proper ride out after unexpected surgery mid April. (Gallbladder )
A few days before I took ill, I bought myself a low mileage FSH immaculate BMW R1200GS, which was delivered the day of my OP.
It has been tucked away in the garage for 4 weeks while I recover and await another attempt to put me right.
Met up at Newcastle Airport Shell garage for 08:30 and set off at 09:00
Along the Military Rd, onto Gretna, Castle Douglas, Newton Stewart then into the Beautiful Forest of Galloway.
Fair to say, I was knackered and struggled the next day, but great to be back out on the bike. Steady ahead.
