@damienjohnstone9635 All the fans I hear are positive towards Eddie Howe and the hierarchy. Yeah they are upset about lack of business and Howe not learning from mistakes like playing Burn as a LB fans were saying put Hall in. He only changed that 4 months later . The fans can't have a better understanding then Howe . But majority still wanted him hear and yeah even myself I said towards the end that Howe if he don't learn from this he should be sacked . Especially that Brighton game were he left out Joelinton thay game wa s a six pointer for Europe but he never bought him in the second half either That's like telling the fans Europe the hell with it playing Sela Cups is what we aiming for . Still fans gave him the benefit of doubt like myself. Let's see what Howe does this season I'm backing him to get Europe as a minimum. Because we have top class players with PL experience and are young also.

FFP does stop us spending as it doesn’t matter how rich the owners are anymore, if the club isn’t generating it they can’t spend it without serious penalties. The big 6 introduced that to keep their hold on the premier league. That’s been known for years. That being said we still could have brought a couple of players in looking at what other clubs managed to do on the 70 million we had available. The board have let Eddie and the club down. For me, Amanda Staveley’s leaving statement was that she told the board to back Eddie. At the time that seemed odd, but now in recent weeks with clear unsettling between Eddie and the new sporting director and lack of communication to Eddie on transfer etc, and how the window was a complete shambles, it suggests there was good reason for it. And maybe (as there has been so much silence) why her and her hubby sold their shares and walked away was because they could see changes they couldn’t get behind………..they were so great in open communication, pushing to improve the club etc that the whole silence and disruption since leaves more questions than answers about the future of the club……For now, let’s get behind Eddie and the players on the pitch and hope they can reach the levels of last 2 seasons when the squad was generally fit. Now the distractions of the transfer window are over, maybe it’s back to business as usual for the best of the club and the fans……

@@phiIip488 again nothing to do with PIF, namely darren eals who forced stavely and ghodoussi out of the club and the new director paul mitchell. They handle the transfers. And lets be honest we offered palace their asking price and they kept moving the goal posts, hardly haggling when we agree to pay what they ask and they keep trying to rinse us dry. Look at all the transfers lately going for 15 and 20m when last window we offered 45m but got rejected. That meeting of all prem clubs except newcastle when we first got bought out proves theres an agenda if PSR being brought in wasnt enough to prove that already.

If Newcastle don't start bringing in 5 star players I cannot see these 2 guys staying to long. Having 5 to 6 mediocre players around you effects your performance.
@ShaneFagan4 ай бұрын
Well to be fair having 3 first team CBs injured is why we aren't putting in the performances. Isak, Wilson, Willock, Trippier, Gordon, Barnes, Pope, Schar, Botman...etc are all great, there are areas to improve like RW and getting a longer term CB but there definitely aren't 5 or 6 in the first team squad that are mediocre. The issue is fitness Botman is out for another month or two, Willock and Wilson have been out injured quite a bit but you can't change the whole squad overnight.
