But that's the whole point. Buy someone at an overinflated price. Sell someone to the same club at an overinflated price. The net deal works for both teams as well as being a dodgy loophole to get around FFP rules. Only looking at one half of the deal of course won't make sense. But they're either both happening or neither is.

Works out selling Minteh for 40 million with a buy back clause. We get the money to sort PSR this year to avoid a point deduction and if he succeeds at his new club then we buy him back for the same money with no effect on FFP. If he doesn't, we've dodged a bullet. Win win

It's still very worrying that they thought it was a good idea is that the kind of player they are looking to bring in very worrying??? Im extremely concerned about eddie, if he thinks DCL is an answer then its got me worrying what in gods name was the question. Why sell a potential future superstar?
