Another timely, helpful video. I really like how you give your students a voice with current events in a creative, personal way while, at the same time, help them develop 21st Century skills. Your humor and graphics add to making your videos fun to watch. Thank you for making downloads available through your web site.

Thank you so much for this! This is just the kind of project-based learning I need for my class right now. We are listening to a podcast instead of reading a book, and this will be a great end of the semester project!

Hi Sam. I loved this video. Do you have the Google Slides available as a template? I love the art work and organization of the slides. I spend so much time trying to beautify good curriculum and converting them into a nice visual for today's tech savvy students. If you can share this lesson plan it would serve as a strong starting point for a Podcast project I hope to do with my students. Thank you!

Hey Miray! I don't have that slideshow available anymore unfortunately but if you go to www.slidescarnival.com/ it's got some nice Slides templates that are good starting points!

Hey. So I'm looking into using Soundtrap for podcasts with my 6th and 8th grade history students in the upcoming school year. When the 30 day trial runs out, can you still use a basic version of Soundtrap, or do you lose access entirely? I've been watching a bunch of your videos the past few days, and they're giving me some great ideas (I also teach in the Bay Area). Thank you!

Hi Michael, You can still access the free version after your trial runs out, though there's a storage limit of five project, so I'm not sure how well it would work for a podcasting project. TBH I'm not entirely sure what's available with the free-only version/how the 5 project limit works (e.g. if that means each student can have 5, or just 5 in total). And cheers from the Bay Area, though I've actually since moved up to the foothills where I have a new position!
