I have a Brown Betty that belonged to my grandparents. My granddad was from Manchester. He came here when he was in his 40's, carried the teapot with him and married my Nan. She loved that teapot!!! Dearest Linda, Nine years ago, we relocated from Vermont to upstate South Carolina. For the most part it has been a positive move. We are retirees and Vermont winters just got too long. That said, finding your channel has been such a joy for me. While sometimes, it's bittersweet, I do escape into the New England vibe, the treasures of New England that you collect and the way you decorate. I completely lose myself in your world, love your sense of humor, and memory challenges:), and emerge feeling full and refreshed after watching. I see a theme! Buy consignment goodies for your house. If it you no longer use it or it’s not working out, resell it in your own consignment shop! It’s a heck of lot better than a garage sale! I believe your shop is going to be beautiful just like your home. It’s so nice seeing “real” furniture being “reused” instead of being replaced by IKEA choices. In our area, we no longer have nice furniture places to shop from or we have to “settle” for shopping online or shopping in Houston where everything is so overpriced and downright scary!

Linda, I feel that if my house is in order, my life is in order. So sad that some people cannot see the forest for the trees, they are missing so much in life. Wouldn't it be boring if everyone had the same ideas about their homes, etc? Maybe if they used a beautiful coffee cup for having their coffee sitting outdoor enjoying the morning or cutting lilacs from their garden just for your own enjoyment🤩. Use the best china you have, who is more important than family.? I love that you enjoy thrifting. I for one love what you do. I also learn a lot. I'm glad you addressed the hateful comments. I just don't feel there's any place for that negativity when somebody goes to the trouble of creating beautiful videos. And your videos are such an escape for me, I look forward to them so much! I lived in New England for 4 years and I absolutely loved it there. I was in grad school and then taught for a few years but I loved going to antique shops and shows and especially in the countryside and also to consignment shops. I moved back to California 18 years ago but I have such fond memories of living in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

You go girl! I just can’t imagine someone who will continue to watch something they don’t enjoy. Time is too precious to waste that way. I watch many different decor channels ranging from modern farmhouse to English Cottage and I have been able to take something from most of them. A person’s channel is their domain and If I happen on a channel where I don’t like the content I will unsubscribe, period. Wow I am impressed--not only did you break one hammer, but two at your old house. You are one tough cookie. :-) The throws are a thoughtful gift item and it doesn't hurt that they are made from recycled material. (Yes, I am adding comments while watching the video.) I also love the earrings--big jewelry fan here but the material has to be lightweight and being made from birch bark they would be. As usual, great job. Thanks for the update.

I so agree with you about negativity and down right meanness in comments sometimes. If this were a news or political channel I could understand emotionally charged comments, but you are providing a sort of retreat from the harsh reality of our world and as such you are fully justified in protecting this space, yourself and your subscribers from trouble makers with ill intent.
