Thanks for such an useful method! This works with me in 1.2.1 as well! For those who have difficulty in 2:22 , you can keep tapping the Y button first and then press B to go back to the world, it'll be easier to fuse the steering stick onto your sword.

Just delete the whole game from ur switch, turn off wifi and start it all over again from scratch on 1.0.0. Its crap that u have to start all over again, but this way u can do the easy glitch. But remember, do a backup save in any case 👌🏼

i found for the steering stick method in tarry town if you have trouble using recall to stop time before the item is fused to the stick you can do this instead… after mashing Y button and pressing B button to fuse the weapon to the stick you can instead of using recall press - and watch two memories in a row then without unpausing press + and change your weapon then press - again and watch one memory then you can unpause and see if it worked. this method is much more consistent than using recall but the recall method is a bit faster.

After you've finished all your duping, if you're stuck in a state where you cant use your weapons, just save and close the game then boot it up again and it should work

2:27 Alternatively, just watch 2 memories, go to equipment without unpausing, switch to another 1H nonfused sword, watch another memory (no unpauseing), and afterwards unpause and if done successfully, will drop next to Link.

@@Bluerubberbanddon’t walk anywhere, just stay where you are and do all that. Also make sure you press y as fast as possible right after b, give it a second or two, then open up the memory

I found that sometimes this worked 100% of the time and other times I couldn’t get it to work for the life of me. I noticed that if I tried with the Pro Controller, I couldn’t get it to work, and the very first time I switched to the Afterglow controller, it worked. I tried again on the Pro with several attempts of nothing, and again got it first time on the Afterglow controller. So, if you’re having trouble, try a different controller- and the extra step after smashing y to fuse, of watching two memories/switching one handed weapon/watching one more memory.

If the steering stick turns glowing green at 2:26 then you have to restart the game. It worked for me.

Any bottle would work too (goron spice, monster extract, etc.) but the egg is the easiest to break, as it breaks easier than any other breakable item

Bomb Flowers will only fail if your invisible egg rolls far away, and they shoot a long distance into the wall. This will cause them to explode. Otherwise, they do work!

nvm: yes, i could keep picking it up and dropping it as long as i changed weapons! bonus tip> you have to drop the weapon and hop on to the stick before you hear the sound of the weapon hitting the ground(which happens just before the weapon hits the ground) so basically, superrr fast.
