you can Also put the Switch between Fuzz 2, and the Boost, 2.5, which is a Boosted Fuzz tone why you didn't show that one, after saying biggest Unkept Secret about the SF300 is the secret 1.5-1.75 mid position switch

Nice video. The battery door is a Digitech design, you don't need a pen, you unplug the cable and use the end of the plug.

@@NewFalconerRecords I probably wouldn't have heard it if you did the usual "doomy" demo of it. I think it does that stuff just as well as pedals that costs ten times as much (Catalinbread Fuzzrite) . Thanks for the comment on my taste.

The octave is way more subtle then with something like a Foxx Tone Machine. Univox Super Fuzz is not my fave flavour of Fuzz but just saw the SF300 on sale for $34 aussie so couldn't say no.

Great channel. Your reviews really stand out. Love the fuzz history. I pretty much knew the history, but a great reminder. Thanks. I pretty much ended up buying the Super Fuzz because of your outstanding review. Great pedal for 30 US dollars from Sweetwater. A lot people say it feels cheap and very lightweight- bullshit. Put up againest Boss pedals and most others I own, It has weight and feels fine. And I own a lot of pedals. At 67 tears old I still own pedals I bought back in the late 70s on in to 80s. This pedal fits right in. Use the controls and u can get a lot of great fuzz sounds. Also very very quiet for a fuzz box.

Greetings! Great video, i wanted to know, for the more 60's "cleanish" vibe here, acid-blues and such, into what amp do you go ? other FX? You use a clean amp with this? Thanks for the info! New sub here!

I went into a clean amp with a very bland sound (Marshall AVT 100 -- not that great an amp to be honest). I wanted to place the pedal in a very neutral setting so that I could showcase it doing what it does without complicating anything. I hope that it answers your question. Thanks for your interest! This is not an "octave" fuzz. It's just two different regular fuzzes and a Boost mode. Fuzz 1 is a "Classic Fuzz", Fuzz 2 is a "Grunge" fuzz. There isn't any octave produced at all.

So I obviously wasted 15 minutes-plus explaining how the Behringer Super Fuzz is based on a Boss Hyper Fuzz, which in turn was based on the Japanese octave fuzzes of the late 1960s. Fine, if you say so.

Octave fuzz is mode 2. Says it in the manual. Pretty subtle though.
