this song is for the new netlix movie: don't look up, which talks about two astronomers discover that in a few months a meteorite will destroy planet earth. From that moment, they must warn humanity through the press about the approaching danger. It is already available in the netflix catalog. (and these rings are basically to light up each person in the venue, for the artist to ``fill'' each one and to make a nice footage of the illuminated stadium)

i think it MAY have a double meaning but she's singing this son as riley the famous pop singer from the movie don't look up as there's a comet that's going to be a world-wide extinction level event and as riley is using the power of her voice and music and her fans to spread the message that their being lied to that the comet is GOING to hit to just look up, which is what she starts talking about when she says listen to the qualified scientists because the qualified scientists that found the comet no one listened to them or tried until it was too late

Something you should definitely react to is crisis, secret and set me free by Joshua Bassett. It’s so good. Basically josh has had a rough life but specifically past 2 years. In 2020 he remembered his childhood sexual abuse. And then skipping to the start of 2021 obviously drivers license by Olivia Rodrigo came out and that’s was his castmate and obviously the song was rumored to be about him. That song caused josh and Sabrina carpenter to get harassed and sent death threats all year last year. A week after drivers license came out he went to the hospital with septic shock and heart failure that was stress triggered from the drama. He was filming season 2 of their show at the time. He was told he was the sickest patient in the hospital and if he hadn’t gone to the hospital within 12 hours he would have died. He also only had a 30% chance to survive. After all that in may Olivia’s album came out which caused even more harassment. Like a few days later he kind of accidentally came out in an interview and then it went viral. Which led to him then being called a queer baiter. He did confirm he was queer tho. (Not gay but queer) and then the second half of last year he was mostly MIA. He released these songs early December. He revealed in GQ and on the Zach sang show that he was sexually abused at 5 for years by a family member and then at 13 groomed by his 18-19 year old friend who he met at theater. He talks about his life and last year on the Zach sang show. I HIGHLY recommend watching that interview. You would not regret it. But anyways so that was kind of the things he’s been dealing with and I also recommend reading his GQ article to learn some more about the harassment specifically. These three songs are about Olivia however set me free he relates to many things including his SA and basically is a song towards everybody who has hurt and held power over him. And just a reminder that this whole rumored relationship happened in 2019-early 2020. He was 18 and she was 16. He and Sabrina got together summer of 2020 and are currently broken up. Sabrina is 22, josh is 21 and Olivia is 19 in a couple weeks.
