My daughter went to school with Patrick at Texas Tech. They graduated the same year. She said he was such a nice guy. They did a fundraiser in one of their classes that was for underprivileged children. She came up with the t-shirt design. They asked Patrick if they could use his likeness. He said “of course”. It was actually a silhouette of him passing a football. On the back it said, “Me and Mahommies!” She still wears it all the time. ❤🖤❤️ Wreck ‘em Tech! 💪 up!

I'm a Middle aged woman from the UK and am now learning all about the NFL and the Kelce family and enjoying seeing the love these brothers have for each other but also their folks, kylie, the girls. They are just a humble, kind, grounded family with a lot of love and in a world of drama and trauma it's just absolutely heartwarming watching their success unfold. Also I really get Jack black vibes from jason. I want him to do a cover of 'peaches' but instead sing 'kylie, kylie, I looooooooove you oooooooo ooooo! You know it ❤

The Vermeil/Priest Holmes days were pretty good. And Schottenheimer had some really good years too. He gets a bad rap, but some of the worst luck I've ever seen. I'm not even a Chiefs fan and I felt bad for him. Shout out to Whitehouse, TX. My son was a freshman when Pat was a senior at WHS. The summer before Pat's senior season, I was up at the field where the fb team was practicing. Mahones was warming up with a wideout tossing the ball back and forth. I recall walking by them, hearing the ball hum through the air when he released it. It caught me off guard. @@celsiiius that's like back when Peyton signed with denver, there was no player I had greater respect for in the league than Peyton Manning. Probably cuz he owned the Chiefs as a colt.. Then signed with the arch rivals, attracted a ton of all-star players to ALSO join denver, and then be proceeded to dominate the Chiefs again wearing rival colors lol... But thats the effect truly elite players have, across all sports. There's just not a lot of weakness to their game. If you claim to not like them, it's probably just because you're a hater.. That, and they attract other talent. Guys wanted to play with manning cuz they knew it'd give them a fantastic shot at a championship. With mahomes, every one of the stars (outside of Tyreek hill) have all taken a little less than they could have got elsewhere to stay and play with him. These kinds of players are not only supremely talented and can raise the game of their teammates, theyre also cultural cornerstones for franchises. I'm glad my team has him!

@@ryanwhite9437 Great point about Peyton Manning. I loved watching him play, even as a Texans fan. He was on such a different level, calling audibles, and the only QB in over 30-40 years to truly call his own plays. I see a lot of that in Mahomes as well. Great guy, smart player, and on a different level so every play of every game is something to watch. Plus Pat is a fellow Texan (Actual Texan, not the poor excuse for a football team we have) so I'm always going to pull for him. Jalen Hurts is also a Texan, so I'd love to see a Chiefs vs Eagles Super Bowl.

As a giants fan I have a lot of respect for coach Reid. It's also hard to not love Jason even though he's an Eagle. I love all these guys

It's wild watching this now for the first time, two months later where they mentioned in this episode a couple of times IF they meet in the Super Bowl, and now it's actually happening.
