Jay's madness honestly is the most genuinely Kiwi thing, he sometimes resembles drunk Kiwi mothers and I love that kind of character exists in a Japanese wrestling company and nowhere else

I think Sanada wins NJ Cup tbh. He gets farther each year and last year he lost in the finals. My theory/hope is he challenges for the IC belt and wins it, and Naito keeps the Heavyweight belt for a long time

I skipped the KENTA comments. Anyway, Jay White says he'll beat SANADA in 8 minutes...don't think he'll do that but he'll win nonetheless. Predicting he'll beat SANADA in 20 minutes and no more than that. They'll go over 8, they even go over 14. That's my feeling on the match. Hiromu suffering from Dragon Lee withdrawal. Just a few days left and Hiromu will be cured. Again...I've skipped the KENTA comments because to me...it's just him trying to be the Tetsuya Naito that returned from Mexico back in 2015. Naito's comments are as usually very intriguing. Have him winning on Sunday. About 75-76% people worldwide have him winning as well. This Sunday in Osaka-Jo...Naito wins and we finally get the big roll call that he promised eight years ago in the same city. And I've said it many times and I'll say it again...KENTA's getting screwed on Sunday. Another Bullet Club implosion is coming.

"...I've skipped the KENTA comments because to me...it's just him trying to be the Tetsuya Naito that returned from Mexico back in 2015." To me, this is what makes the match-up so damn intriguing. Naito's been staring in a funhouse mirror at himself. KENTA's backstage work as of late has been fantastic and harken back to a time when LIJ still had teeth and Naito still had edge. The recent flubs in Naito's comments, and his more subdued demeanor speak to the fact that Naito probably realizes that he's become a tool of the power structure he once promised to reject. I'm super psyched to see how this plays out!
@AlvosElRey4 жыл бұрын
@@Sakusennin No. He's still rejecting them. Because they likewise reject him. You say L.I.J has no teeth and Naito has no edge. Naito legit beat Okada at Wrestlekingdom. L.I.J is stronger than ever with 6 members. They hold all the singles titles except for the US championship. They are in control now. Naito doesn't speak as a bitter man who came from Mexico in 2015. He's more experienced. He's weathered.
@Sakusennin4 жыл бұрын
@@AlvosElRey When speaking of "teeth" I'm not equating that with strength or leverage. Yes, LIJ as it is now is the top babyface faction in NJPW. But that's kind of the problem...when you reach that level, it's damn near impossible to paint yourself as the counter-culture underdogs anymore. KENTA's appearance here as a true outsider heel undermines Naito's whole persona and shines a light on how hypocritical Naito's usual anti-establishment schtick has become as of late. That's why Naito has struggled to have much to say during this whole back and forth with KENTA. It's really quite compelling to watch.
In a *13 year* pro wrestling career, SANADA has won *two* major singles titles: AJPW Gaora TV Champ 2012, TNA X Division Champ 2014 Of course he's young and up and coming, but still... *yikes.* This might actually be the most any company has invested in SANADA.

I love SANADA and I am hoping that they are going to finally start giving him some singles victories and a real crack at one of the titles. He may not be a talker like some others, but he's talented.

Boohoo! Jay, you're degrading him then by saying that he has no title. We can now see that he holds two titles: the IWGP US Championship, which he won a month ago, and the IWGP Tag Team Championship, which he shares with Tetsuya Naito. I know you're the grand slam champion, but my prediction is that 2022 will be his year.
