It's usually the songwriter, not the producer. If it's not the songwriter, it's usually a working vocalist hired by the producer. There's definitely instances where the producer will sing the tracking vocal, but it's very rare.

Okay, so the vocal you’re hearing is called guide. When a producer produces a song/beat they hire a singer to record the lines to the song, so when the actual idols come into the studio they listen to it and they have to record it that way. Basically the idols are like they are only covering the songs.

Bueno, realmente casi todas las demos de canciones kpop estan en ingles ya que la mayoria de escritores son extrangeros, ellos ya tienen canciones hechas y en ese caso la empresa las compra y se encarga de adaptarlas al idioma coreano!
