14:20 THIS. I often hear this in songs, mostly in hip-hop, and it's ALWAYS satisfying. Like, they really make sure that you bop your head at the start, and then SLAP you with some type of off-beat (I don't know the terms). It's always a pleasant surprise.

Me too! It breaks my heart that this beautiful talented group that's her brainchild is under threat from their own company because they want to kick out Min Hee-jin. I really hope both NewJeans and her survive this somehow. MHJ is a renown creative mind for good reason and the NewJeans girls are massively talented.

The thing about 1 and 7 is that, it clashrs on its own, but when supplemented and complemented with other notes that harmonise with the two, it sounds SUUUUPER nice, it gives that nice release but it also gives you enough hunger to listen to the next part... Sang in a choir when the bass and sopran sang 7 and 1 for a few bars and it feels similar to the chorus!

i love the harpsichord comparison...learned something new! i did notice how the chorus felt a lot more dreamy than the verses that were a lot more focused on being upbeat

It was SO amusing to hear everyone describe the song’s elements and it always matched what occurs when you have a crush and try to get their attention. Very intriguing! I had struggled to figure out what all is so satisfying about this, as well as nostalgic. While I understand the technical aspects a bit more now, I wish I knew musical theory to fully grasp it. Also, I still can’t pinpoint what music it reminds me of - this has been so frustrating. But hey, maybe it’s for the best? Maybe it’s songs from Barney or something.

I love how they pointed out the motion of the song. I noticed it but I just can't find the words to describe it and they described it well, they're right the song is not holding the listeners back it's in constant motion and never put the listeners on edge, the song doesn't have a huge beat drop or a strong build up at all.

I like that they didn’t build on attention at the end, it feels like those minor moments where you see that boy you like say a word or two and they just leave. You see them and it’s exciting but then that attention just becomes deprived from you
