I don’t know what you saw on twitter bc there was a lot of misinformation going on but basically, Min Heejin made an internal complaint to HYBE pointing out several issues, saying, "HYBE lacks preparation, understanding, and attitude towards the multi-label system” and requesting them to give ADOR full contract exclusivity when it comes to external services. She had made the request in order to resolve the unfair interference she faced during NewJeans’ debut process. Then HYBE released all that media play on her with ‘false reports’ to try and pressure her to resign to make things easier for themselves. (If their claims were right they could’ve easily taken legal action against her to kick her out) ADOR claims that HYBE had used that as media play to promote the idea that she was trying to go full independent and terminate Newjeans contracts. And international fans twisted the situation and made it about fanwars when this is not just about Kpop it’s about a huge multi label cooperation vs one woman, bunch of greedy businessmen vs a creative. It is unfortunate that people are using this situation to target groups..

The Min Hee Jin/Hybe drama has been wild, and very entertaining tbh, though the victims of all this corporate BS is always the artists, so that sucks. AsianJunkie has done pretty good breakdowns/summaries of most of it on their blog.
