New Jeans are a newly debuted K-pop group. Their ages range from 14-18, so they give off a fresh youthful vibe compared to what’s going on in K-pop lately. Their ceo wanted to put out something different compared to what’s been released the past few years. Even though they have only been around for a month they are already winning awards on Korean music shows.

I quite like the concept and music but it always makes me so uncomfortable how young they are It’s hard for me to even stan Enhypen Like when kpop groups have idols younger than 16/17 (and even then it’s pushing it) I get quite uncomfortable Then you have the whole ceo of ADOR being weird and suspicious as hell And the cookie lyrics shall haunt me in hell 😭 It’s just so… disgusting We all know how bad publicity at such young ages is (Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus for example) yet it’s also so normalized especially now in kpop The sexualization of minors in Kpop is off the fucking charts that it makes me want to take a shower again and I just took one I’m around the ages of these young idols, the youngest in NewJeans is actually younger than me, and it seriously makes me so uncomfortable to see all of this; plus I know how badly this can and (most likely will) effect them in the long run Idk I just wish the members of NewJeans and all underage idols the best and hope all the creeps will spontaneously combust
