Can't imagine how soul destroying it was for the MK team to animate some of these. You can hear in interviews how much fun they have making the fatalities as gruesome/stupid as possible.

At least they got to keep some of the good fatalities that involve less blood like Sonya's kiss of death , Scorpion's Toasty , Liu Kang Arcade etc. , but the majority of these fatalities are bland and uninspired especially Sub Zero and Kano.

The developers behind this game knew how dumb it was to have to water down fatalities. That’s the impression I got from one of Shang Tsung’s fatalities in Mortal Kombat X.

If anyone asks: Yes MK vs DC servers are definitely down. The platinum is no longer achievable. The only MK Game still working online on PS3 is Arkade Kollection. Servers for MK9 are definitely definitely down. Same for MK vs DC
