@@tupacshakur5868 Nope, Its exagerated each time it happens, But they have escalated, We also have a lot politics involved to amplify every event to get each parties laws passed , the news cycle can select which ones to amplify, For example, if its a white shooter, its amplified , but if it in anyway breaks a narrative , the identity is recorded as white in the beginning, than simply changed to the name or "unkown" America is also a lot bigger, For example the UK can fit inside of California alone, Our country has criminals, but many miss the entire point of having gun rights, Our country left tyranny so we implimented a way for the public to fight back in case we ourselves became dictators , also protection and protection of others, Even if we removed every last gun, The criminals , cartels etc would still bring them in and we would still have this problem, Most guns are obtained illegally, Another myth the media plays with is that we can just get guns, but when you go through the process it does make it a lot clearer that they are trying to not sell to anybody without background and mental checks, some states its almost impossible, others its open carry, some its conceal carry. Our country has a problem with narratives in the media and all it does is make us look like nut jobs and paint a warped view of america.

Third and final thought, hats off to her parents and whoever else may have been involved in teaching her how to handle this situation. It may have saved her life and the lives of many others.
