It's all cool if you're pausing to share your thoughts! I think it's great that you're enjoying yourself that you want to go into deeper to explain why you like the song. Just for context of these songs, these heavier pieces play for each major bosses of the game. There's four in total, and the one you listen to is the theme for the third boss. Undefeatable for the first, Breaking Through for the second, and then this one. The last one is "I'm here". There's also some additional songs that play during the credits, like Vandalize by "One OK Rock" which I assume is more of your speed. The other ending songs are more related to the story of the game and comparably lowkey so I'm not sure if you would dig those exactly, lol. Not bad songs at all, but they don't match the energy. To answer your other question on if Sonic been doing lyrics and actual rock anthems in past games, yes actually! For games like Sonic Adventure, they had a band named Crush 40 to create rockin' ass music for their final bosses like Open your Heart, Live & Learn and What I Made Of. I think you'll like some of the vocal themes from the game "Shadow the Hedgehog" since they collab with musicans like Julien K and Powerman 5000.

@Zum1UDontNo2 жыл бұрын
The reason there are two very similar guitar solos at the end is due to the way the music loops for the boss fight. The ending of each boss is synced to the music, and at a certain point, once you've depleted the titan's HP and completed the final button prompts, the rest of the fight is pretty much a cutscene. The "same" song keeps playing, but the music cuts to the ending part, which isn't part of the regular boss loop. In this case, the first guitar solo loops back to the beginning, while the second guitar solo and soft finish is the ending.
@BigKillaJoke2 жыл бұрын
The final boss battle matter... Is a bit complicated. They essentially tied two things together in short succession.. So for the genuine boss portion it's "I'm here." but then there's another part extending beyond that but it's not really like all the other bossfights both mechanically and musically. So in short there's four boss themes. 1: Giganto -Undefeatable 2: Wyvern - Breaking through it all. 3: Knight - Find your flame. 4: Supreme - I'm here.

Sonic has had music like this since sonic adventure in 1999

Sonic’s been partnering with bands for vocal tracks since the adventure games! Though they typically only feature said bands for 2-4 songs per ost. Some of the other bands the’ve partnered with are: Crush 40 who did the music for the Adventure games, most known for “Open Your Heart” and “Live and Learn”. All Ends who Did the lyrics/vocals for “With Me” in Sonic and the Black knight. And Steve Conte. who Performed “Seven Rings in Hand” for sonic and the secret rings. Honestly though this doesn’t even begin to scratch the list of bands and artists that this series has collaborated with

Sonic games always have a lot of Vocal tracks. Its been like that since Adventure, which had i think 7 main vocal tracks, one for each character, and then i think one for the final boss. Then Adventure two remixed 3 of the tracks, made 3 new ones for the other playable characters, and then made 1 for the game in general. Most Sonic games usually have at least a few really good vocal tracks, its one of the only consistent things about the series. its Music has been great for a long time. Crush 40 is well known for several amazing tracks from all across the series. They have an entire album thats just the various songs they've done for the sonic games, plus one that isn't used in any game but is kinda like a send-off to the series from when they made it. Live and Learn, Open your heart, Un-Gravitify, and Knight of the Wind are just a few of the many songs that they've made that are in various Sonic Games from Sonic Adventure to Sonic and the Black Knight. I highly recommend checking out that album. There are other vocal tracks that they werent a part of that are also great, 'His World' in particular (done by members of Zebrahead) is absolutely fantastic, and probably one of my favorite songs of all time. Generally, you can expect any sonic game in 3D to have at least one, if not several major vocal tracks. And they are consistently very good too.

Takashi Iizuka: “Hey so, we still have Tyler on contract for another song, and Kellin wants to do a song where he isn’t the main vocalist but also wants to be an amazing part of the song.” Tomoya Ohtani: *”Light bulb”* And that, ladies, gentlemen, and everyone outside and in between, is how Find Your Flame was made.
