I was at Shrewsbury when we lost in the cup and at half time I was getting a little stressed. Quality came through in the end with Foden and Silva excellent.

Young Foden said afterwards that was ' the worst pitch I've played on' ...I guess his prodigious talent must have kept him off places like Hough End, Fog Lane and Wythenshawe Park. If he's been nurtured, it shows. Quality performance. Full credit to Newport County - this game reminded us of the magic of the F.A. Cup. Millwall or Manchester United in the next round ? Enjoyable vlog. Been to Newport many times over the years, never had time to linger or see the castle.

Can't understand why Newport Fans booed City for the whole game. Don't go for this "Romance of the Cup" For a professional football club to have a pitch like that is a disgrace to the league. Maybe they can spend some of the money from the Cup to improve it to a reasonable standard. The FA should have a standard and if clubs don't meet it the game should be played elsewhere. Don't usually complain about Referees, but how he could miss the handballs is beyond me.
