How do the Irod genesis hold up to saltwater? I fish the Kaimana’s they are great but looking for something a bit lighter. Just worried about the guides rusting

I have this rod for almost 8 years I always rinse after every saltwater use so never had any issues as of yet...

@@fishing_guy good to know I do the same rinse as soon as I get back to the ramp my Phenix feathers the eyes were rusting after 3 trips
