Newport Jetty Fishing - ft PK Yi, NorthWest Fishing, PDXFISHING and Boneyard Bassin

For the first time ever, we got the WHOLE FAMILY together!
All the "Oregon Googans" got together for the biggest collaboration we've ever done. We've got PK Yi, NorthWest Fishing, PDXFISHING and Boneyard Bassin', and we head to the South Jetty in Newport, OR to attempt a huge catch and cook with rockfish. We fish well into the night time, so a good portion of this video will be lit by headlamps and spotlights.

Love that place! Pretty entertaining video man! We hammer the rock fish out there and lingcod as well. Would love an invite next summer if you guys do another collaboration on either Newport Jetty. Try the North Jetty....it's a Death March of Bataan for sure, but much less fished = better fishing. South Jetty at Tillamook....but, ummm.....good luck with that. lol

Hey man great video. I went out just past the light house out there with my uncle on his friends boat. We went for salmon and I caught my first ever salmon. Also caught a blacktip shark on a pink super hoochie. I should give the jetty a try sometime.

It's best to fish the beach side of the jetty on an incoming tide I fish the channel on Slack Tides only I'll be down there tomorrow to get some more limits of soft shell clams and littlenecks Plus hopefully some limits of bay perch like we did yesterday and last weekend

Thank you, I kept a real big rock perch and 2 greenling over 10", I lost some rock bass but had bites whole time- releasing allot under 10". Was fun and what I kept will taste amazing.

I have yet to taste the difference, they are both amazing. But my all time favorite to eat is greenling. Most people throw them back and don't realize how amazing they are. But i do wait for them to be at least 10" or bigger.

Looked like a fun trip. We have had similar results of catching hundreds of smaller fish at night during summer. It must have something to do with spawning and nurseries because during the winter they’re much bigger
