Newport Vessels NT300 Quick Review

This is an honest quick review of the Newport Vessels NT300/3HP, 36v Electric Motor. The Motor performs great, has good distance, great speed and just a few small things for newport Vessels to make better. Run it on Lithium batteries. If run on Lead acid, your distance/run time will be diminished by 2/3. Recommend Three, 100Ah Lithium for max range and performance. The battery packs are only 40-50 Ah and you will see 1/2 the Run time.

Definitely need a tension nut. I don't know what I would do with the tiller that loose. And the counter clockwise turn to go forward is whack-a-doo. That would confuse me for awhile. Other than the director interrupting the lead actor and distracting him at the end, this was a solid video 😂🎬

Yeah the loose feel of the tiller isn't ideal. Apparently we can re-calibrate the throttle to work the other direction (like a trolling motor).

Do you mean (3) 12v 100ah in series or (3) 36v in parallel?

Three Lithium 12V/100Ah batteries in Series to make 100Ah/36v Output. Hope this clears anything up.

Oh ok that makes so much more sense now lol. I was like, dang, only 3 hrs on 3 36v 100ah batteries is terrible performance to weight ratios lol. So that means 3 hrs if I were to use one 36v 100ah battery. That makes it more interesting to me now.
