@@VolkorX Wow, thank you so much for creating such an awsome song. I'm a novice, myself, and would love to hear your insight into the (rather enigmatic) music-making process. What is your usual process for making a song (e.g. do you start with a certain instrument or musical component)? Also, what advice would you give a novice Synthwave music-maker?
@VolkorX4 жыл бұрын
Hard to say really. It's different every time. Sometimes, just a simple arpeggio will give birth to a 10 minutes song. Other times, it's an inspiring synth preset, or I just get up with a chord progression in my head... There's no "usual process" honestly... The only advice I could give you is do your own stuff, create your own universe instead of trying to sound like other synthwave artists. :)
@ianian41624 жыл бұрын
@@VolkorX Thank you. I'll keep this in mind. Just out of curiosity, however, would you say there was any particular musical element or technique that gave "birth" to "Enclave" ?

@@ianian4162 That was a long time ago, but I think it all began with the intro arpeggio and then I added the bassline. After that I just started building up around these. The synth solo in the middle of the song is a one take improvisation, I felt it sounded rather nice so I kept it :)
