I have a feeling that The Ninth Jedi is being set up for an entire series, which I wouldn’t say no to. And The Twins was peak Trigger. Hopefully the likes of Bones, Kyoto Animation, David Production, Ufotable, & Wit all do shorts if we get another season of Visions.

Yeah the 9th Jedi has a clear settup contrary to others which were more "open ended". Find the 5 other Jedis and rescue the sabersmith, discover who leaked the plan? What's Juro relation's to Kara?

It's not technically an ARC-170, it's a Z-95 headhunter, similar but not the same.

@Joseph Douek IIRC the Z-95 came after the ARC and before the X-wing. You can kind of see the evolution as the bulky ARC gets toned down, sleeker, and then more heavily armed as the X-wing.

The reason why the ninth jedi is so good is because of the sith reveal plot twist, the epic lightsaber duels and the father daughter relationship. The ninth jedi episode is also really emotional and wholesome. If the ninth jedi didn't exist, perhaps the duel or the elder would be everyone's favourite episode. The duel and the elder are so freaking good.

T0-b1 is my favorite episode of the series.Droids have always been such neglected characters in star wars to me, even in the clone wars they're treated as comedic relief or disposable soldiers for the separatists. so I like that we get a star wars story from a droid perspective.

For those interested, the ridiculousness of riding on an x-wing in hyperspace to cut a star destroyer in half, is entirely in line with Studio Trigger, which animated that episode. It was a studio created by the people that did Gurren Lagann, and brought such hype shows as Kill la Kill.

I think for point number 8 it could be referencing Ahsoka. It looks like the figure has horns(or lekku) and Ahsoka has two lightsabers. Seems like a good match🤷🏼‍♀️

I think T0-B1 is one of my favorite episodes(I love all of them really). I kinda want to point this out but T0-B1 is voiced by Goku's VA in Japanese. You feel the Dragon balls intensity during the fight. Not only is there an Astro Boy & Pinocchio vibes, but also has a Megaman feel with T0-B1 and the professor relationship. I feel like there other references when watched in the japanese dub for the anime lovers. :D

It was very mixed for me. I felt like they were each given a list of 10 star wars tropes and asked to use 7 of them. Without fully understanding the context of those tropes beyond youtubing examples. I gave it a 6/10 for star wars and 7/10 for anime. Though it did also follow anime tropes too, which i guess is some of the appeal of anime, but hey I praise unique takes more.

From the looks of these comments it seems I'd one of the few who's favorite was Tatooine Rhapsody. The idea of a Jedi Padawan surviving the purge and starting a band with a Hutt is just too good. Now that is a series I'd watch (not that I wouldn't watch series based on the other episodes but I like this one in particular).
