This movie was phenomenal, yes, it was a form of fan service but the delivery of the story made sense and the characters were well implemented. My favorite part of this entire film was that the writing did stay true to who Wolverine is. When Logan said “This is for Charles” I felt it in my soul.

I have a theory. Some say that Nicepool did not have any mutant abilities explaining his face, but I believe that in his universe, he didn't acquire the regenerative abilities we know and love. Instead, he received the same ability Francis has in the prime universe-never feeling pain. This explains why he doesn't seem to notice or experience anything painful.

Wade is doing it selfishly saying things like “I need this” and “I need to prove myself”, not to mention only doing it because he wants Vanessa to see he can be apart of something bigger than himself, but the avengers SACRIFICE their own needs for the sake of the worlds safety and security.
