hi i am doing my medical school in caribbean and i am in my 4th year MD programme graduating in August 2024 but i have ecfmg ID and had passed my step 1 so will i be able to get ECFMG certificate IF my school does not get accreditation after 2024?

My apologies for taking so long to get back to you! You have to apply for the ECFMG number and begin the process of certification before 2024. You do not have to do everything - USMLEs and the OET - all at once to start. You simply need to register.

Hello sir! My passport got rejected two times by Ukrainian embassy due to Ukrainian war threats and has two rejection stamps on it, if i clear my USMLE then can i get into US? I heard there are lots of problems regarding Visa in US, please guide me!

Hi there. I am not sure if the rejection stamps matter. A visa is decided by the embassy, so you might have a chance to explain what happened to the staff.

No they need to be fully accredited by 2024 they can’t be in process you will have to wait till they fully accredited to sit for the step one after 2024

Hiii , I am studying in Kyrgyzstan, i have questions that applying for ecfmg certificate after completing usmle step1 and step2 you should must graduate from 6yr md medicine program or 5 year md medicine program is also valid please clear my this quary it's too important bcz many students in 5 year program in Kyrgyzstan and preparing for USMLE so please clear this

Hi there. If you have taken the USMLE series - step 1 and step 2 CK - you should already have an ECFMG number, right? It is not open to everyone. The program length is not important. It is the medical degree that is important. If your school is recognized by an accredited agency, you should have no trouble.
