Heat exhaustion will be the least of the problems for England's football team over the next few decades. Great stuff from the 1984 Olympics. I have always thought that Britain under-performed at the LA Games away from the athletics considering that most of the Eastern Bloc were not present.

When I.T.V. should have had the Olympics. But a dispute as to whether two or three men could operate the new E.N.G. Video cameras meant the A.C. T.T. pulled out and B.B.C. Sport had a FREE RUN! Every one watched V on I.T.V. any way.

Ahh the days when The News At Ten was still The News At Ten. It’s now a shadow of its former self, and frequently gets pushed aside for some reason. It always surprised me that Steve Ovete was a runner. He didn’t look fit for anything much.
