The years, when Eurovision is becoming more popular, attractive and encourages the people to buy a TV set... I remember, that TVP's DTV (acronym of Dziennik Telewizyjny, newscast at this time, it, since it's beginning as "Wiadomości Dnia", has one still hour of beginning of broadcast, at 19.30, with exception of years 1963-65 (it began at 20.00, when the weather forecast after news is broadcasting now)). DT's previous intro was followed by another long-running intro (in case of music theme), used from 1973 to 1989, that music was composed by Romuald Kilar. Later, the DT (another acronym of it, used in 1980's) was coexisted with Wiadomości (current name of newscast, which was very popular, even during DT era) between November, 1989 and February, 1990 (date of last newscast is controversive, some sources say that it was on February 9, others say, it was a late night edition (known as Echa Dnia (Echoes of the Day)) from February 2). I remember, that another notable long-running intro is from 2004 to 2010, made by Schwartz and performed by Piotr Rubik. From other polish channels, other notable long-running introes are: TVP2 Panorama (2010-), Polsat's Wydarzenia (2008-2022) and TVN's Fakty (2012-, currently they used a modified version without intro, just only logo on graphics screen in the studio, since 2015, this newscast is criticized for having pro-PO (Civic Platform, a party, who wants "to become Poland a 17th German State" (because Germany has the same number of top-tier administrative units as Poland, 16)) bias).
