NEWS! January 6th CONFIRMED to begin filming?

I'm SO RELIEVED to know that all the January 6 references I've been seeing from my GO peeps is related to filming and not supporting a certain event in US politics!!! I feel a lot less unsettled now!! Also, if Aziracrow get turned human, I will revolt. They've spent eternity pretending not to love each other. They deserve to spend another eternity openly loving each other. I don't care how cute it's portrayed, anything less than an eternity together is not enough.

I'd hate it. But it's up to them.. kinda don't think it will happen? There was a rumour back when Gaiman was still posting and some fans got very upset, his response was to reassure them but of course not confirm either way.

I honestly don't get what is there to like. If they become human, they get to spend only a few decades at best together and they they will die and their souls will go to the afterlife. It's quite likely that they won't be going to the same place, that Aziraphale will end up in Heaven and Crowley in Hell. So they would have a few decades together as humans, and then the rest of eternity apart. Doesn't sound good to me.

@@Sendarya It's very distancing, it's like you're listening to a radio play through headphones and these people are acting it out on stage. Really didn't like that feeling. Much prefer to feel like I'm in the room with the acting. They also did odd things like have the witches off stage and just kind of whispering into the headphones, it didn't work for me.

The timing of the Good Omens merch store really is unfortunate. I think if the Pratchett estate had done that at the very least 1-2 years ago, it would have been much better for the fandom (and possibly Season 3 too). Those sweaters really do look nice, though😊.

@PatriseHenkel I know for a fact that he is not. I didn't mention it because I really don't want to spread the rumor. If I see it around more, I will address it in a video, though. People who know him have confirmed that he is currently in NZ working on another production that starts filming in January. 100% he is not going to be returning for Good Omens. It's a bummer, I know :(

The filming date makes me really upset, because it reminds me how tremendously rushed the preproduction (including the script edits) is. All this haste feels like a recipe for disaster. As for the BAFTAs, if you ask me it may as well mean David will have wrapped up filming GO. 40 days on limited budget seem realistic (Oppenheimer was filmed in 57 days, GO s1 took a bit over a hundred), especially if Crowley has little screentime in the 90m. The franchise store news is really disappointing. It should've come last summer where our consummer decisions could still have impacted Amazon's decision. At the moment it feels like a calculated money grab, and personally I'd much rather spend my money on the beautiful high quality fanmade merch on Etsy.
