Another interesting blog Andy,sometimes is very hard to work out why firms are bought out, a lot of the time it’s just to acquire the land I think, the firm I work for has bought dozens of firms out over the years and some of them have shut down within weeks the mind boggles. You’re right about the need for smaller lighter vans they are getting heavier, ours is just a 550 Elddis with a 4 series bmw it’s absolutely on its limit. I suppose we all wan home from home so can have it all ways.

Its happening in publishing to mag titles being bought out and my original book publisher now also sold off - its the way of the world. Yes light weight but yep folk want home comforts but younger folk may be for cost not be to bothered - time will tell. Sounds like you are on the limit with the van but if you are safe thats the main thing - great to have your thoughts

Interesting vlog Andy, I do agree smaller light weight vans could be the way to go. Would need to be a much better emphasis on build quality and you know with the right designers I'm sure there's many space saving ideas that would work into caravan layouts and still get that bit of comfort. Why not use the on site facilities , they have improved greatly. Could yet be exciting times ahead let's be hopeful that out of the ashes will come a new dawn for the industry.

Lightweight with basic kit and yes use sites facilities your paying for them in fees so may as well use as much as possible. Decent price and quality would help to give caravanning a boost - thanks Kevin as always for watching.

I think you are correct Andy smaller vans end kitchen lighter weight will sell but also I think CLs and CSs are going to make a killing more than main sites.
