It is incorrect to blame Allu Arjun for this. It is actually the CM who has weaponised the state machinery to cover up. Allu Arjun's mistake was, he did not realize his stardom could make the situation go out of control like this. From his perspective, he just went to watch a movie to the same theatre that he had been visiting for the past 20 years. Shame on Telangana government. The police failed miserably.

State govt didn't give permission for Devara too for the same reason.. so NTR didn't attend the event and then it got cancelled.. Allu Arjun should have done the same

He has been visiting the same theatre for the past 20 years. Devera event was different. The pre-release event was canceled. But this was just screening of the movie. @@pkoppart can the film unit show any document for approval? Until the approval doc is given, we can't assume that we have approval. And police have clearly mentioned that the theater management was notified before the event.
