Uses of giving good wages to Govt.Labourers are : 1. In return Govt.will get more returns by Income Tax. 2. Govt labpurers may increase their consuption ability, that helps in increase GDP. 3. Talented human workforce will show interest to come into govt Sercivice instead of flying to foreign lands. 4.Most of the Central govt labourers are Armed force personnel, no one can count their sacrifices for the welfare of nation ..keeping in view of them govt.should increase wages..

There is one group of employees neither govt nor private normally called PSU employees. There pension through EPF is pathetically lowered than the pay at the time of retirement. For instance I retired as GM with total emoluments nearly 1L plus. But EPF pension I get is Rs.1937. Why thecsame govt trun their face at such cursed group called "PSU emploees". One or two exception in those group is SBI and probably IOC. GOI during many instances openly declare minimum pension to be Rs. 10K. But when wi the "cursed lot" see such pension let alone the luxury of Govt employees getting hike every year as DA revise.

The so called author & journalist doesn't even know the when DA reaches 50%, it doesn't automatically gets merged with the Basic. The way he is feeling the pain, I wonder which Govt employee did a dirty on him. According to him pay of Govt employees should not see revision and nobody should aspire for a Govt job!
