Peter told the story of this song. He wrote it to give to Petra on an album he was producing for them. Peter's wife told him if he gave up this song, she'd kill him. Naturally, he kept the song and it's a Newsboys classic!

I remember when u guys did a concert in Nashville at tbn. There was a little lady in the corner who had her hands covering her ears the entire show. When this song came on she was the first one up to sing in worship. She never stopped worshipping.

Peter Furler was the original lead singer of NB until he stepped back in early 2009 and Michael Tait (wait 4 it young uns former DC Talk Google #ColoredPeople & #JesusFreak) took over as lead singer. This song is as old as the hills- in the best way possible. 🙌🏿💃🏿🙂Google Joy. That was a personal favorite and reminds me of "the olden days" in youth group as a teen. Newsboys are awesome regardless of the lead singer. Michael & Peter do a wonderful job of sharing God's love in song.🙌🏿👏🏿🙏🏿
