this felt like a real movie, the music was amazing and it was so gut wrenching when he killed ultima.

Ultimas last line really hits hard now, because sometimes I forget that Ultima was a straight up antagonistic force in season x. His devotion to oro is what led him to his anti heroic actions. He became violent and destructive through his crusade of justice. Until he took the life of lynx he learned forgiveness and the moral grayness of the world. It's great character development to see him hold refuge for people and generally being a nice guy under that stoic behavior. His devotion consumed ultima and he was able to break free from that. The incident that lead to omega seeking oro was when he felt lynxs death, this is where Ultima changed for the better when omega changed for the worst

This is just sad I remember the the first time we met ultima. To see him die is sad but also relieving because we know that the chapter 1 story and characters have almost come to an end. Ultima Knight had no more use in the storyline, so NSP took this opportunity to get rid of him. Also, Ultima was a blinkered religious zealot in Chapter 2 Season 2, unwilling to see the truth and believe Midas when Midas said that Oro was horrifically evil. So screw Ultima.

I wonder what direction this will go, once the golden armor style for Omega Knight become unlockable in the final week of Chapter 3 Season 2? Either NSP goes the route implied by Epic's "The First Shadows" and Midas (who used to be the new God of the Light once) turns Omega Knight to his side and grants him the armor golden as a mark of Omega's new loyalty? Or Omega Knight is granted golden armor by Orelia in the name of Oro and potentially becomes an even worse threat, dpending on what Orelia's goal is here? But Orelia can't grant Omega Knight more of the Light, since she doesn't have it... Midas absorbed Oro's power when he slew Oro. And Omega Knight can't have absorbed Ultima's light when he killed him, because Ultima is only a Disciple of the Light in spirit anymore, not in actuality, because if I remember correctly he lost his power when Fusion sucked out Ultima's shard of the Light back in Ch2S2 during the battle at Steamy Stacks power station (which then ended up in Midas instead of Fusion). And the sceptre of Oro that Ultima had as High Priest of Oro was retrieved from Oro's realm by Skye (during her time as Eternal Knight) and later given to Midas and he extracted the Light inside it, didnt he?

Though as we know that fire king and Midas both returned after death, it surely is possible that ultima can return as he is connected to the light . Even when Oro calls himself “Light” he’s a fallen light , and not the true light master . Midas is the one and only true light besides ultima .
