I would also like to mention the Red Origin Ultima Knight, I know that it really wasn't as difficult to complete as Omega but it seems very memorable to me. The Origin helmet needed to complete all the Headed-Up challenges (reach an specific season level), Ultima Kinght was the last with level 65. But there also where the Zero Point missions and the Red style needed to complete 5 missions: - Reach battle pass level 100 - Complete all the Headed-Up missions (A bit easy with TR matches) - Complete all the Battle Pass misions (I just remind you that during this season we got the prestige challenges, which imo were some of the most difficult challenges we ever had in Fortnite). - Complete the Scientist missions They really doesn't sound that bad but just missing a one single challenge could cost you the red style. You could have been level 100 battle pass but maybe you didn't reach season level 65. Or you could complete all the weekly challenges but couldn't play every day. In my case, I reached level 100 two weeks before the event and completed all the prestige challenges, but since my parents only allowed me to play on weekends, I only got at season level 58 and unfortunately missed both the Red style and the Origin helmet. I thought they could be done next season but they changed the level system in Chapter 2, ironically you could even complete Drift or the Ice King because their challenges involved xp or surviving opponents. I hoped that they might give us a second chance with those skins but then they deleted the locked styles of the skins on the Cube Queen season. It really hurts me till this day.

I feel your pain through the screen 1 day before sezon 4 end I make lvl80 omega lights (only camping just to make lvl because I had everything else done). And fr I don't remember those quests were so hard back then and I got those styles (from what I remember)

@@L3G10Npl Imo prestige were more difficult than the weekly challenges that Epic had us accustomed to during seasons 6,7,8,9 and all chapter 2 weekly missions (although I won't forget that time when we had to pick up an special gold scar in the primal season lol). The hardest that i remember were that one to do fall damage to an opponent and kill 3 enemies on zip lines.

God Omega is the one skin I want today in fortnite. Probably one of my favorite battlepass skins. I could have had him but didn't get him since I didn't buy that battlepass. If Epic ever brings back any battle pass skins I WILL buy him.

While it wasn’t as hard, Red Origin Ultima Knight was probably the closest thing we’ve had to omega lights. You also had to unlock it during season X, which was like, 66 days.

Omega is my favorite skin in the entire game and finally getting his armor maxed out made me so so happy! It was my first battlepass so it felt very special, I was disappointed that I never got the lights but I am just happy to have fully armored Omega :) great video! You’ve earned my sub

I really want skins in the battle pass where you unlock progressive styles through XP and Challenges. Now, I don’t want it to be completely limited time like Omega, but more like Drift, where all you need are the skins and you’ll get a cooler version of them. We got something like this with Spectra Knight in Season OG, where you could do challenges to unlock different parts of the skin’s customization. I love these kinds of skins because they feel so personal.

When you said it's the equivalent to reaching lvl 400. I said that crazy talk then I look back at my LVLs from chapter 4 and to 5. Each season I averaged around 350-415, the highest I got was 578 during the season with Peter Griffin in the pass, I needed to touch grass and it almost cost me my health.

I only started, if memory serves in season 7 (Ice King is a damn good lvl 100 skin). To be honest, I feel if they were to bring back the Omega lights it should only be given in challenges given to those who actually got the battle pass when Omega was available. I apologize if the following goes off topic. I say this as I've seen the argument that previous BP skins should come into the store. For some skins, sure I can understand it, but for the rarer skins I feel that'd diminish their value. If that were to come to pass I'd say give every owner that got the BP skins the OG way a challenge to unlock an Exclusive appearance (another glow or color) to show that they were there. I mean my favorite skin is my by X-Lord from season 10. Would've loved a Teal coloration on him. Also, I'd say, as a further restriction, perhaps, if a BP skin that has glows were to be brought into the store, maybe only let the first glow be unlockable.

Honestly no offense to you but I think new exclusive styles shouldn't be a thing. I think personally it just makes people entitled just simply because they are og. It has lead to like a lot of people begging for them and frankly it's just kind of annoying. So even if they brought back the light challenges your still og because you own the skin unless they decide to bring back old battlepass skins.

I would pay anything to get the Origin Ultima Knight style. In any case, they could allow you to obtain both the original helmet and the red color and give those who completed all the challenges in their time a black style. But honestly, I don't see Epic doing this unless Fortnite reaches a really critical point.

Omega is my main in orange full + back bling from s9c1 orange for this masked dude (japanese like) + chaos blades like pickaxe in gold style😅 I don't remember but this pickaxe was released for Chinese new year I S9 2 styles black and gold

I don't have Omega lights I have the tier right before. A while back I thought it would be cool if they brought back the ability to unlock omega lights since in Season 5 it said unlockable despite not being unlockable. I thought one way they could implement this would be if they also added white lights for those who originally had omega lights, similar to how there is purple skull trooper. I thought there would be more of a chance of this happening we had the brief OG season. At this point I'll be pleasantly surprised if they did this but I really don't think they will.

The omega lights will always be the best because it was very hard to get and was not just like these days reach level 200 to get all the styles and complete all the boring weekly quests to get a style these days it's so easy to level up because epic wants everyone to try other modes

I've been using the Omega skin for 6 years at this point as my definite main skin (full armor + orange lights). After finding out Fortnite added more color options for Omega in an update, it became a desire to obtain it and i started to grind for the skin, I'm satisfied with and finally searched for the right skin i was looking for. For the most part, i disagree a lot to the idea of having an "exclusive" skin that not many people have and i always don't care if a skin is considered special (This goes to every skin in general), I always use a skin that generally holds a lot of value for me and fits more into my general tastes (Oblivion, Ultima Knight, Antonia, to mention a few). This goes for the case of Omega; has a perfect color scheme i always like, has an aggressive-cyber looking armor, and that's perfect for me.) I don't really care if the skin is brought back again if they began to sell Old Battle Passes, instead, makes me happy to see people have a second chance to obtain a favorite skin they desire for.

And then theres me who missed out on orange justice 😭i think about the early C1 passes and how fire they were, and thats why i have a reason to despise fomo (i was also trapped on switch) While i do think old battle passes should return, the special styles should stay locked as they can be the proof of the grind. (like calamity stage 4 and not stage 5) A nice compromise i've always considered is that accounts who played those seasons should be able to unlock those passes, not newer ones.

I remember playing like 8 hours a day for the last 20 ish days of the season just to get the lights, having to deal with disconnection issues cuz my wifi was shit (you wouldnt get any xp if you left the match back then) and all my squad couldnt play during that time so i wasnt getting any bonus xp. Luckily i managed to get the lights on the last day of the season with a few hours left. Supercharged xp was like a gift from heaven during that time😂

Did you remember when you get it increase exp in the end of the match for who has battle pass, and you had to level up in battle pass to unlock more bonus percentage. Even with my 3 friends and I in the max increse exp, wasn't easy to level up and get omega lights

I played the game every day during Chapter 1 Season 4 and was five teirs away from unlocking Omega I think I was level 65. I remember looking up past battle pass and getting so mad that I was five teirs away Season 4 had one of the worst ways to get XP that season. I still got the better Omega though Omega Knight.

Your final point is awful, there’s no reason not to when they let you get previous styles literally one season later. Season 4 is the only season in chapter one where you couldn’t get previous seasons styles. They shouldn’t have made it that hard to get in the first place imo Edit: 5:55 you say it would make OG players mad when it was a very small minority of players who actually got it. Also you say “OG players” like the people who didn’t get them weren’t OG, the only difference was is it’s mainly kids that got it because they had more time to play, anyone who had a life was not able to get the lights. You really seem like one of those guys who was genuinely upset when the recon expert came back out.

Nah I still think black night was harder. I mean back then all you had was daily challenges to level up efficiently unlike the seasons after where you had weekly challenges. Having the battle pass meant that you got to do one extra daily. So you basically had to play every day in order to complete it.

I didn't get them, I only got the armor stage. He still looks cool, I just wanted/still want the different colored lights. OmegaRock is a really nice alternative though I only played Fortnite with my friends, if they weren't playing, I wasn't playing, I wasn't much of a solos kid. I got to level 77 or 78, should've just played more I'm definitely over it now, my friend who got it, let me play on their account and, I didn't even use Omega. Would've been nice but, it definitely wouldn't have mattered too much

Ch2s2 was 118 days Ch1s4 was 71 days I would definitelly say that omega lights were harder to obtain. Firstly I thought that I got omega with ease but then I saw that I ended up with level 82

if omega lights shouldn't be unlockable again then why would they let s5 and other battlepass unlockable style skins be re claimable?

Honestly in my opinion, I think if you bought a battle pass and got the skins, there should always be ways to unlock the alternate styles/colors. I don't care if I have to pay Vbucks to unlock the styles, it's upsetting having skins but can't customize them to match other cosmetics. It feels unfair that you payed money but had an unrealistic chance to unlock the lights, especially if you are a normal person and had school or work and couldn't grind 18 hours a day. I have tons of cosmetics which I never unlocked every style for in my locker from characters to pickaxes to back blings and I feel more inclined to archive them than use them. One of the skins that irks me the most is I have Demi from season 9 but can't use her black and blue alt because the season went on longer than expected and I wasn't aware of it and missed out. It makes me even more mad since blue is my favorite color and I don't have a lot of good blue skins.

Exactly the same but lvl 65 that's all (lvl 65 was half way to 80 back then fr - every lvl needed more XP then previous)
