One sided and biased journalism. The US consider Zimbabwe an enemy in the same vein as China. Then they come and establish military partnerships with Zambia, and Zambia tries to cause domestic upheavals in Zimbabwe by taking sides with the Zimbabwean opposition CCC instead of observing the elections as neutrals. It is a well known fact that HH has very close links with Nelson Chamisa, some even say that he is an advisor to him, even saying that he funds his party. Zambia on its own are not a match for Zimbabwe militarily, but with the advent of the US in Zambia things can change, Zambia becomes a threat, hence Mnangagwa's overtures to Putin. Mumba's report was just a rehash of what the CCC were saying before the elections. He could have written that same report in Lusaka without visiting Zimbabwe. I am zimbabwean and very much a patriot who not only loves zambia but african unity at large. Please read through for light on this matter. ED is not wrong here, he is simply trying to get support from those who supported us from the start, zambia include . You plaid a crucial role in our liberation fights and more issues. Here is what most citizens from both countries are missing with regards to this issue is that America is well know for distabilizing countries through military coups and war mongering. When he said zimbia is a puppet country he didmt mean citizens but a botch gvt that has been pushed into power by the west through complicated tactics they use which us normal citizens dont always recognise. Zambia is housing over 70% of minerals needed for battery building for Electric vehicle batteries. Since its im africa china has been the number 1 country to come invest in these resources and the west knws they are losing the battle so they want to make sure they have control of these minerals and prevent china from accessing these too. So what they do best is to militarise the region so we focus on fights while they loot. China russia on the other hand are not coming to africa with guns like the west. They are investing real money with no conditions for host countries like what the west and IMF are doing. Zambia needs money and to get this from IMF the west wants to have their base or intelligence stay in zambia to loot an monitor chinese projects. Zambia has shown interest to accept these terms thats why ED is saying what he is saying to the east so we are prepared. Only problem with our governments is that they do not explain properly what will be happening behind closed doors because if they where doing that we would know better. Zambia hasn't ever been confrontational. But, Harare is always poking Zambia. There's no need for that by the Zim authorities. This so called tension isn't necessary. The Zim leadership must be very careful with the way they are pulling their strings. They have alot of work to work on their, some how collapsed economy. We're always in support of our Zim brothers.
